A lovely tribute. I cannot, nor will not forgive such an atrocity. There was no reason for it. If one has a problem with our government, take it up with them. Not innocent civilians. McVey, bin Ladin, I hope your enjoying your time in the lowest pits of hell.

Same here, and I loved Voyage. The ‘sea quest’ show also was a real favorite too. I remember clearly they having a prequel to the 2nd life game years later too, but I can’t recall exactly what episode that was.

Actually it doesn’t show your more intelligent, than Dr. Hawking, merely seeing other ‘paths’ (sorry). I too did that a long time ago. I thought suddenly, if the universe just before the big bang contained all the matter in the previous universe, then it’d had to be a singularity (IE: Black hole) Turned out years later, i was right. Now HOW it exploded that’s never come to mind.

The idea of ‘paths’ as you mentioned also could be used as a sort of space travel device. If I remembered, in Dr. Baxter’s Xelee species, they did extra-galactic travel by tiny jumps. Using uncountable number of them in very rapid sequence. Maybe 100 lightyears at a jump, done every second. It wouldn’t violate Einstein’s FTL but you’d still travel to destinations at a faction of the time.

Of course, all tech far in advance of us.
