I truly believe that Trump is that stupid. His “handling” of coronavirus testing is like a very young child covering his eyes and saying, “You can’t see me.”

    A pandemic to run:

“I don’t take responsibility for ANY of it!”

    .

Of course, sabotaging governors is really hard work.

    .

And naturally, investigating ‘crime’ does not include the head of the criminal family in the White House.

According to his latest insight all we need to do to bring the numbers down is slow down the testing?

I was born on November 3rd. All I want for my birthday this year is for sanity to rule for at least that one day. Wouldn’t that be a nice turn-around to an otherwise terrible year?

Trump has a lot of things to deal with. All those bad people, doing bad things in Tulsa. How dare they have peaceful demonstrations! And those K-Pop terrorists. Something has to be done about those juvenile delinquents who disrupt his rallies. They’re disrespectful saboteurs and should be thrown into child labor camps. Time’s awasting Donald, TikTok, TikTok. How can they do this to our Dear President. He has they best people of any past administration Barr none. He knows the best people. He knows so many that he has to constantly change them so all of these great people can serve the Dear President.

If trump should lose the 2020 election, I predict he’ll declare it a hoax and refuse to step down with the Republican Senate will be in lock step (or should I say goose-step) behind him and we’ll witness the end of democracy. No, he’s not stupid, he’s evil. They’re the stupid ones; trading their jobs for thirty pieces of silver.

Because a lot of newspapers (remember them?) delete the top tier of their Sunday strips to save space, a lot of “Doonesbury” readers missed the funniest part of today’s strip. (By the way, until I read the comments it literally never occurred to me that the Mike in question might be that pompous bloated dishonest coward, Pompeo. I just naturally assumed it was Li’l Mikey Pence—who of course had to get permission from Mother BEFORE he followed Trump’s “extraordinary leadership.”) Of course, on second thought, the idea of Trump “working day and night” (or even working at ALL!) was the funniest part of today’s episode……..

By the way, for a hilarious compilation of actual Trump quotes about the pandemic (you know, how first it was five people and then would go directly to zero without passing “Go”, and so forth), in chronological order, check out Clay Jones’s video link. You really can’t satirize a parody, parody satire, or make Trump look even more ridiculous than he makes himself. (That is, for an audience of at least MINIMALLY intelligent and sane people.)

his comment on bolton’s book actually clothelined the DOJ’s argument to block it. The president declared it was full of lies AND revealed secrets. if it is all lies, as he claims, then clearly he isn’t revealing secrets. If he is revealing secrets, it isn’t lies then. but the big oopaloompah is too self absorbed and too dumb to realize how his knee jerk reaction dismantles his own arguments.

I just like to imagine white house lawyers listening to him rant then just banging their heads on the table in frustration.

Trump’s firing of the SDNY attorney that was investigating Trump would normally be worthy of Impeachment, but Dems have decided that Republicans are too corrupt to even try.

Ouch! First a fake global pandemic with 122K and counting confirmed US deaths, then an economy tanking with 12.4 percent unemployment for whites and 16.8 percent for blacks, followed by nationwide protests against racial discrimination, police brutality and disparities (see previous), another kiss and tell memoir with many more to come, and now a campaign rally that fizzled out like a wet firecracker instead of a bigly bang.

As the old saying* goes, and is quickly catching up with Trump, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

*According to Quote Investigator, the quote has been attributed to Abraham Lincoln, Jacques Abbadie, Denis Diderot, and Anonymous. I’m sticking with old saying.

The comment about Bill Barr at the end made me remember Barr testifying before Congress that he doesn’t care about hist legacy because he’ll be dead. That didn’t make sense to me until a little while ago. When Trump loses and Barr loses his job, Bill Barr will die, whether it’s because the Devil coming to claim his own, or other reasons. That’s the only way Barr won’t have to live with his legacy.

Does anyone know if Mr. Trudeau uses some of these beautifully ornate drawings of the White House over and over? I would think it would take so much time to draw that he may have a library of 20-30 different White House angles and drawings that he can pull from for strips like this.
