Am trying to picture what cat paradise would look like … at least to the BCN gang? There must be rooms filled with ham … and self-opening cans of tuna … and the red dot, once caught, must taste like sunshine on a winter day … and … and … and …??
Great News, Orb Family!! We got the call back from our Shadow girl’s Oncologist with the results from her mammary mass biopsy. BENIGN!! Andy and I are so relieved, and so thankful for all of the head boops, well wishes and prayers for us. Next up in our world? Our Granddaughter is due to arrive in less than three weeks! We are blessed! <3
IRL I pranked a person I worked with who was known for killing her desk plants. Many had gone to that grassy field in the great beyond. Her latest effort was heading that way quickly. On Friday before a 3-day weekend after she had left I put in 4 jobe’s plant food spikes which is a nitrogen supplement into her plant pot watered it and covered over the plants spikes with extra dirt. On Tuesday the plant was in beautiful health.
Ha ha ha! Foiled again detective! From the looks of the grass, in the first panel, I say it looks like a dying phoenix! Now it has risen from the ashes….er dirt, and has renewed it self!
I think Georgia is going to get a call from the FCC (Feline Comment Council) about all the cat profanity that has been popping up in the strip lately. She is going to need a good lawyer. May I suggest Pippin J. Shenanigans Esquire, noted cat attorney.
Lifeflame’s post reminds me that I must buy some plant spikes for my plants. So, everyone’s attention wandered, and the cat grass miraculously sprang back to life.
This is an amazing analogy to worldwide problems missed by people getting distracted by “spiritual” discussions, while real events pass them by. For example, the current outbreak of religious oppression allows people in India to neglect very real problems such as hunger, poverty and the threat of the novel coronavirus
scaeva, please check in. Unless profile is lying to me again, it’s been 3 days since you commented anywhere and 5 days since you commented here. I hope all is well with you and the Mrs. and the cats!
Can’t decide if I want further examination of feline religious beliefs or not.On the one paw, do the Ones we serve really believe in higher powers than Themselves? On the other paw, can we mere two-leggers understand such ineffable concepts? On the third paw (there being 4*) might it start a feline religious war?

That cat grass grows faster than the grass down here in Texas.

O My Cat! Just goes to show you that getting philosophical will result in missing the details of real life.

You might as well have chased that ball, Puck.

They need a local ‘grass’ to inform for them.

Goldie, for shame! Swearing in front of a kitten like that!

Ok, I looked up cat grass, but saw nothing about it dying and reviving.

Ha! The supposed Great Detective has missed the important moment, and resorts to taking a name in vain.

I’ve hear this “more spiritual than religious” line before, but I don’t know what it is supposed to mean. Can we start with “spiritual”?
catmom1360 about 4 years ago
Goldie lost her ’stach. But wait a minute. The cats are obviously looking forward so how come they missed it.

And Puck should have kept watch. He had experieince aas a detective in the Great Missing Ham Case.

Well, we’ve proven one thing. You have to be not directly looking at it for the grass to “unwilt” itself.

Now they have to wait for the cycle to repeat. Rule 1: Never have theological discussion while on a stakeout.
