Question: Can you sue if the circumstance in which you intend to sue is premeditated. Like writing on ice prior to falling in. Surely a sign of guilt. “ I know don’t call me Surely because you get offended. However if whoever answers this is named surely then I just spelled the name wrong, ok, so sue me already.

There isn’t a week goes by that I don’t hear someone say, “We can’t do that any more!” Insurance companies take the hit for these frivolous lawsuits; and they are restricting our lives in countless ways. It is time for the government to rein in the courts, and bring back a world where people realize the world can be a dangerous place, and take responsibility for their mistakes.

My wife and I never had a prenuptial agreement. We wouldn’t have gotten together if we have planned to split.

Besides, financially, we had nothing TO split.

I’d be interested in knowing whom is going to be sued? The owner of the pond? If so, were you invited to skate on it or were you trespassing? Did you check the thickness of the ice before venturing onto its surface? There is a principle called “assumption of the risk.” But no worries. Just check a few of the lesser known cable TV channels. Lots of lawyers will happily give you another soaking.

My father talked about people who’d walk in front of moving vehicles like they were thinking, “You hit me and I’ll sue!” My dad’s answer: “If I hit you you’ll be in no condition to sue.” ;D
