Love the expressions of Lupin and the girl. So close to tasting north American Halloween spider, yet both so far.

It does look pretty great on Thimblefist…

Halloween has lasted even longer than the Christmases that don’t end until Epiphany.

I feel a little sad for Lupin and the Girl … they didn’t get a chance to even LICK the spider!

Really? They are worried about their baby and domestic cat eating it, but not a wild animal? Or should we believe they threw it away properly and somehow the wild critters got into the garbage? Still love the art, if not the message.

Shouldn’t the spider have at LEAST one more – or TWO more – pairs of ’hand’cuffs on?!

Get a treasure chest from Michael’s, A.C. Moore, Hobby Lobby, or someplace like that that can be locked up and get a lock to lock it up.

This strip has really grown on me — great stuff!

Hate to point out that if you “set it free” outdoors, some poor bird or squirrel is going to eat it and won’t have anyone to save him.

You would think, with so much of it in the world today, that more people would see, understand, and appreciate sarcasm, especially the humorous sort. The Man is making a humorous, sarcastic, ironic remark. Instead of seeing this and laughing, too many are too eager to find fault in the nonexistent “message” of the cartoon. Look beyond your own perceptions and predispositions—especially if they are to find fault where none exists.

I think the Girl and Lupin need to double team the people to get what they want. All they need to do is have one distract the people and the other one swoops in to get it. then they share.

It does have to be something that does not harm them .

Poor Lupin has had a rough few weeks. May the Lovin’ Spoonful can help him make up his mind
