Any ‘Cosplayer’ needs to be able to hit a minimum of three different character-specific poses upon request. ✨❤️✨

Sigh…I really USED TO like Bets.

Poor Gun – typecast as a klutz – again…..

Sigh. The Online Peanut Gallery Demands This! And That! And we must obey!!!!!

I’m just an old fart OK Boomer, but I think that thinking this is some kind of danger to Bets and Gun’s relationship gets the arc totally wrong. First while we know the social media world, what with FB, Twitter, IG, etc., we don’t live it and in it like Millennials and particularly Gen Z’s do. Social Media is their global town square, or mall, or sock hop, and relates to nonvirtual venues like sci-fic/fantasy based events as niches along the way. Bets and Gunther have a socially appropriate and ROMANTIC relationship, jeez give the man a break. She is hot, atheletic fun-loving, loves him because of his nerdy and honest qualities and thinks he is cute. If I had a gf who could throw down a pose like that, even though I clumsily have to dodge it, I would be one happy and lucky nerd. Keep in mind this is supposed to be “hilarity ensues.”

I dunno, 1212. This week, G&K are making it hard to like Bets.

There’s an old saying, too, that sometimes we “love” people that we don’t “like”…

Okay, four things.

1) For Bets to DEMAND that Gunther stay off his phone and devote HIS attention totally to HER, while she can use HER phone any darn time and anyway she pleases, IS JUST PLAIN WRONG! PERIOD!!!

2) Gunther looks fairly handsome in panels one and two. Greg should KEEP That Look for him. And THEN, Greg has to RUIN is all by turning Gunny into a Klutz in the last panel. :(

3) Nice Move by Bets in the last panel. And, dare I say it, Bets has a nice shape. But please note. She has the smartphone camera SOLELY on HER in panel three.

4) A Safe, Happy and Prosperous 2020 to You All! ;)

Not agreeing about bondage remark, about the emergency room. But then, traction could be a kind of bondage…

In the third panel it almost looks like Gunther’s pose is one of someone running away. Keep running, Gunther!!!

And, while I am here, from our home to all of yours, I wish you all a happy and safe New Year! It is only 11:22 here, so we are still waiting for the ball to drop. The cobalt blue bottle of Rondel Brut is on ice, and ready to go for toasting! (closest thing we have out here on the Left Coast to Romulan Ale…)

As someone with curly hair like Gunther has, I wonder how he was able to straighten his hair over his forhead.

The millennials are living in a weird world that is unrelated and irrelevant to them. They are doing stuff for people they don’t even know. I read about a true story of a male influencer who gained so much following after doing some stunts that he got sponsorship based on his outrageous stunts and his girlfriend decided to manage the fans and filming. The girlfriend got greedy and pushed him to do more outrageous things. They got so rich they bought an oceanfront mansion when they both were 18. Eventually, a stunt landed him in the hospital where a growth was discovered in a CT scan incidentally. He needed surgery but the followers demanded the guy to continue with his stunts. One of the doctors tried to intervene and explained that he needed the surgery so he could live and would require months of recovery time. The guy believed the fans cared about him and the doctor knew they did not. So he took this guy up to the roof of the hospital and had him ask the fans which they want – go have the surgery or jump off the roof of a 4 story building. They picked the jump. The guy finally realized they were only interested in seeing his stunts and did not care about him as a human being. He agreed to the surgery. His girlfriend was upset when fans started unfollowing him that she broke up with him and sought another influencer who would do stunts. I tell you – social media has a long reach to the amoral and thrill-seekers. What Bets is doing is not cute or fun…Gunther is known to be logical and rational so hopefully, he will see where this is leading to and put a stop to it

I am REALLY surprised that there is no Happy New Year wish on Luann today, Very Disappointed WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY & BLESSED NEW YEAR !!

Whatever these “moves” are, Gunthie clearly doesn’t have ’em! Hope they get a move on from here, though. Happy new year 2020, fellow Luann readers!

I think Gunther has found his soul mate. Anyone who will share cosplay has got to be a keeper. Plus, she is bring him out of his shell.

That’s gonna be painful.

Gunther still has so much to learn about cosplay. Fortunately he has a great master. GO BETS! Next time two Jojo characters!

Hope all had a happy and safe 20/20. The pending crisis will be the negative comments from Gunthers pose; doesn’t look like he nailed it. What’s interesting is GnK keep going to Gunthers weak areas and never show us Bets (past love of attention). Ah well, look for a Peru moment in 20/20.

Thanks for reminding us all that despite his incredible fashion skills, he’s not very choreographic.

I realize that they’re doing cos play but Bets is being drawn more and more in a manga style. There’s a bit of that here with Gunther as well. I also notice that his hair has straightened out (unless his costume includes fake bangs).

And so another year has ended and my top three hotties would be: # 1 Nancy, #2 Tiffany, #3 Rosa. Bets: cute, but too hyperactive for me. Fay: call back in about 5 years. Crystal: Knute is her perfect match. Toni: too much baggage with Shannon and Jonah. Top guys would be Frank and Knute, the others are just dust mops for the girls.

Bets is definitely in charge of this relationship and if Gunther minds (from time to time), it is short lived; he gets over it.

ENOUGH!!!

Irma asked Gunther about Bets a few months ago. And Do know what? Let’s MAKE that Happen! It’s high time Bets MET Irma!

A doting, smothering, older cat-lady meeting up with a pushy, controlling, gusty young woman with a SERIOUS Social Media addiction. THAT, should be highly entertaining.

Almost as entertaining as Bets meeting up with Ann Eiffel! ;)
