I am glad Goldie is announcing herself. I can’t wait to see how all this comes out. How she introduces herself to the boys. And how she gets introduced to the family. Tomorrow I’m welcoming a new cat to my household. This will be my thirteenth cat at this time along with one elderly rescue dog. The new edition his full name is King Arthur the third or just King for short, I’m told he is a lovable medium hair cuddle bug and what happened is as what happens to so many of the cats and dogs I get is that he’s human died so they come here to live in my family. I would appreciate prayers and positive energy for his assimilating to his new family and also for the recovery from the concussion that Shadow sustained on Tuesday I love my Shadow he’s a beautiful baby and I love him very much he’s eating today and drinking, he’s been drinking even right after the accident and he’s eliminating as well he’s just not jumping on furniture or running around like he usually does and when he walks well he’s kind of walking like a drunk sailor but there is no internal bleeding he just had a very bad landing I’m told nothing seems to be neurologically wrong with him.Thank you so much for your Prayers, Love, and Positive Energy, that I always feel here and that you send to my Family.

My friends adopted a big yellow cat that came to them for help when it was injured. They named her Georgia, so I keep calling Goldie “ Georgia”.

Looks like Goldie has been in at least one fight, going by the notched ear.

Georgia does little details with such style! I love the notch in Goldie’s ear to show that she is a spayed feral female.

She hasn’t even met the people yet. How does she know her name? It’s the people who will give her the name Goldie. Did they just make a lucky guess?

Off-topic: Anyone have any kitty hugs to spare? I just found out that my 16-year-old black cat has cancer, and I’m totally out of my depth, sad, and scared. :(

Puck will always be my favorite in the strip, but I love Goldie so much. She reminds me of my late Tigger Aloyisius. Yes, Tigger is a bit cliched for a big orange tabby, but appropriate in this case because my Tigger really had springs—he could be lying on the deck railing when I touched the doorknob and clinging to the storm door screen by the time the door was cracked!

Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking in the background, almost since the beginning of this strip. Though I would come out of the shadows and say ‘HI’ ;D Currently I have two mini panthers (8 pounds and 15 pounds), both rescues – my avatar is the two of them lounging in the sun…I love the supportive community that has developed here and can’t wait to see how Goldie gets introduced to the news team!!
