Hi friends, I don’t post very often but I’m here every day and love to read all the comments. There has been a lot of discouraging news amongst the orb members lately. Not to downplay any of that, but I’m wondering if you might like some news to cheer about?
Two years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. This time last year, I was in the hospital fighting for my life after a bad reaction to the chemo drugs. Not only did I make it, but I’m also through that first critical year, post-treatment, with no signs of recurrence. No longer a cancer patient, but a cancer survivor!
I love what the orb has become and how supportive everyone is. I didn’t have the energy to post while I was in the hospital, but I drew comfort knowing that if I had requested support, you would have all rallied around me. Thank you for being who you are!
