Elvis can barely keep it together…uses the papers to cover his emotions. All are so sad. Hopefully Baba Mouse can help them at this difficult time.

Even Tommy is sad. Georgia does such a wonderful job of showing emotions.

Poor Elvis! “I can handle this, really. Just got a little paperwork to attend to…(sniff!)”

I love this. It’s so bittersweet, but I love how the boys act like parents to little Beatrix. They really are Good Boys!

I believe that that is just about as sad as Tommy can look. It’s not easy to be sad for someone with his personality.

And another wonderful line in panel two that we have been waiting for (semi)patiently for so long!

I hope that it isn’t sad; I can’t deal with much more sadness right now.

The heart can hold so much fear, so much hope and so much pride, all at the same time.

Regrets. Baba’s had a few. Steve, Dora, Charles, Bonnie… (Just kidding. She loves them all really. Probably.)

I love all the feels. Panel 3 is really telling—the Boys’ emotions are running high.. yeah, I see you Elvis, trying to keep the tears from falling by shuffling papers. It was one the hardest things I’ve ever experienced when I said goodbye to my parents at the airport in San Antonio, Texas to come to my my new life in England. Not a dry eye between us. To this day it’s still difficult to be apart from my family, but it’s all part of growing. (sigh) There there, Boys. Lady Bri’s heart goes out to you in empathy. Xc

I just "awwww"ed so hard over that third panel – those sweet sad boys! – I think my good boys are getting jealous. I better get off the computer and feed them.

Lighten up boys….Bea is widening your world to another remote location, one full of books and more adventure. Burt just needs to set up more remote connections. Just think of the new avenues of research that will be available…..more awesome charts! More new friends including the mysterious Trevor….you are not losing a child you are gaining a new family.

In the past year I have spayed/neutered 11 feral cats. Unfortunately my last one 2 weeks ago turned out to be a nursing mamma. She was released as quick as possible so she could return to her kittens, but my neighbor caught a kitten, its about 3 weeks old at best, guess who has her now. Tried to reunite with mamma, she was a no show. So I now have a kitten and my 4 year old dog is not happy and very jealous! It’s a work in progress.

Monday morning at 5 o’clock as the news begins

The Beatles: She’s Leaving Home

Baba looks so sober in the last panel. Oh, boys, don’t cry, Beatrix is going to a good home where she will be loved and cherished.

This morning Kiki (new spelling) growled at Sweetheart! :D And she added a hiss for punctuation!

Sooooo many anxious eyebrows, the Boys are worried about their little girl going out into the big world…

So many feels already and Baba Mouse hasn’t even taken the boys anywhere. I feel a tear filled episode coming up soon.

Instead of ‘Storm’ … this says, “Story’s a’comin!!” I mean that in a good way, please! Maybe we’ll get some back story about Beatrix?! … Or maybe Baba Mouse?! Both?!

Again, thanks to the Mega-Orb for your love & support over the last few days! Looks like PJ’s memorial won’t be till August. Maria (his SIL) & I will both be away for several weeks in the mean time, & we want to give the extended family enough advance notice that they can plan to come.

I will give my peice having seen much suffering. We have to remember, the domestic house cat exists as it does today largely because of its realtionship to humans. We are the ones who placed it into society as it is today, that is not something we should take lightly. We are largely responsible for the state of existence of these creatures.

Nothing much gets by Baba Mouse…her experience is wide and her memory is long.

The poor Boys have never had their hearts broken like this and are looking for advise from the sage one. It’s OK Boys Beatrix really will be happy and so will you.

About a year before my dog died I discovered she had become best friends with a feral cat. Not certain how long before I discovered this friendship. She was helping Cat to take care of her kittens and then sending them on their way when the time came. After Dog died Cat mourned so it broke my heart. I started helping with weaning the kittens but had no idea how to send them on their way. Got Mama and any others I could trap fixed and neutered. Mama is still feral her last litter is semi domestic and new cats have moved into the neighbourhood. I just chase those out of my yard.

I know the boys are all terribly sad to see their little protege leaving the big pink house, but I can’t help but be excited for any cat or kitten who is headed to a loving “Fur-ever” home! Beatrix is going to have such an awesome life. :) Chin up guys; she won’t ever forget you!

Quick Nushi update! I will leave bigger update under the 6/11 comic later tonight. For now know that Nushi is continuing to improve. It’s truly amazing!!! Today she is 10 months old. 5 days ago I wasn’t sure she was going to make it! Today she is ravenous and running me ragged! I’m exhausted and ever so glad to have that problem! Thank you!!!!!

I have a Baba Mouse, but she’s a black panther. I have one of her kittens from her last litter, too. She’s now nine. He’s four. She still grooms him as if he were itty-bitty (he ain’t itty-bitty). And sometimes, she bops him, too. He’ll always be her kitten.
