This past year was truly an annus horribilis if ever there was. I shan’t regret its passing. But I look forward to 2018 with only the slightest optimism. Much remains before us…

Not sure 2017 was any better or worse than previous years generally speaking.

In 25 years, we will look back and say these were, personally, the “good ol’ days”.

If you keep making that face, you will become stuck that way.

The new year began under a void of course full moon, most likely 2018 will be worse than last year.

I know Zebra had a bad year, because he almost never made much of an appearance in Pearls last year. Goat had a trying year, having to continuously deal with Rat, and put up with Pig’s simpleton ways. Pig had somewhat of a rough year, having to deal with all the tragedy that goes on in the world, and trying to maintain his failing relationship with Pigita. Also continuing to not understand misquotes, or take word phrases too literally. I think Rat had the worst year out of all of them. Not only did he have to put up with people’s continued stupidity he also has to make tough decisions, and deal all the bashing from people, including us commenters as the POTUS!

I’m surprised Pig knows big words like cathartic.

All is well for me. The Houston Astros won the World series.

All the whining was difficult to deal with.

It’s really depressing to see how many people still think the president isn’t the worst thing to ever happen to America.

I can only hope more of them continue to join the rest of us on the right side of future history.

Sup guys?? I just want to let you know that I’ve just created my first account (this one), and I’ll be commenting on some Pearls strips starting this year, 2018. Don’t worry, there WON’T be any bad comments that would tick you guys off (spamming, rudeness, irrelevant polls, etc.)

Anyways, reflecting on 2017, for me it was mostly OK with a few special events. Must’ve been a rough year for Pearls..
