    Redundant

No disrespect intended, but I noticed you completely ignored my last two sentences. In any case, no one’s forcing you, or me, or anyone else to be consistent. However it is a good trait to have. There’s no way I’m going to replace Christ with an X. You are free to do as you see fit. I no longer wish to defend my belief in Christ in a public forum. I will no longer read any more negative comments about Christ in this thread. If you insist on continuing, send me a text message or email. I hope all goes well for you this year and I look forward to this year’s CHRISTmas. Maybe that should be ChristX. It’s just an abbreviation , no more, no less, with no disrespect intended. CC

You obviously know more about it than I do. However my dictionary doesn’t show either spelling. I have never seen any of my friends use either spelling. I’m going to stick with Christ being part of my Christmas. Thanks for the input though. Shouldn’t that be Xian or Xtian C.S. Lewis? At least that would be consistent.

I’ll believe that when people type Xians instead of Christians. Get back to me when that happens. Christ should be part of Christmas.

That’s an excuse that lazy people use. I’ll accept it when people write Xians instead of Christians. Get back to me when that happens.

    I agree with you 100%. It’s really a shame.

Yes, it’s quite different. Don’t call me a girl unless you want to be called a boy. If you want to be called a guy, than refer to a female a a gal, not a girl. Otherwise it’s very disrespectful.
