That’s what the commercials are for, Puck!
It appears that Natasha is so smitten with Kit that she is attempting to embrace him through the TV screen.
Oh oh. Don’t look now but it appears Goldie may be getting into OIXL. Or at least still watching so far anyway.
OT: My cat Diesel:
Are they watching on an old hand-me-down TV? Almost looks like a CRT (Careful, Natasha, you’ll ruin your eyes!)
I’m loving all the subtle details Georgia uses to make each cat unique … even if they were nekkid, I like to think I can tell them apart!
Goldie still looks confused as to why she’s watching this.
Uh-oh, the Fang of Doom is out!
OH!!!! AND it’s National Cat Hug Day!!!!
Quick check to see whether the internet still works. Not looking at OIXL.
No Robin today. I wanted him to check out today’s Cul de Sac strip. He will know why.
Fat Elvis helps everyone, Kit. You just got to beleeeeeeve!
You missed the twins standing side by side, Puck.
Back from the litter box!!! I love it!!! :D
Wise Cat says only fools butt in
But I can’t help talkin’ ’bout love with you
What shall I say?
Would it be a sin
If I can’t help talkin’ ’bout love with you?
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Brother so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take her paw, take her whole life too
For she can’t help falling in love with you
Can’t Help Falling In Love – Elvis Presley
Songwriters: George David Weiss / Hugo E Peretti / Luigi Creatore
Beware of anyone bound and determined to help you whether you want it or not.
It wouldn’t be a proper soap without an interfering busybody!
Meanwhile Back on the Nile
Queen Mags: Welcome to the Land of Afar, Your Majesty.
Queen Catshepsut the Golden:Thank you, Your Majesty. We bring the supplies you requested. Also this little girl.
Queen Mags: Wonderful! Her family has been worried sick.
Enter the Rabbit Family
Mom Rabbit: Bunny! We’ve been so worried!
Big Brother Rabbit: Sis!
Bunny: Bro! I are Bunny!
Bro: You is baby!
Bunny: I are Bunny! I are Bunny!
Papa Rabbit: Now no fighting, kids or no carrot cake tonight.
Queen Catshepsut: So typical. One minute they miss each other the next they’re fighting. Do you need anyone to help chop wood?
Mags: We have the Beaver Crew. We’ll leave it to them.
I dont want to know what that line trailing Puck is
Is that Goldie and Elvis? They look the same. Love the mouse watching!
Watch out, Kit: “If I knew for a certainty that a man was coming to my house with the conscious design of doing me good, I should run for my life”—Thoreau
Slowly, the plot thickens, and the story goes on.
It is amazing that Georgia can not only keep the original story line going but can add a soap opera within it as well. We are so glad she can.
That fang of determination, though!
Oh My Cat!
He is the best

In a typical soap opera, we would shortly find out Bandit’s ulterior motive for hearing Kit’s secret. “Shortly” meaning about two weeks of give-and-take and jumps to other characters. There are two interlinked rules of soap opera writing (a) nobody gets left behind, i.e. watchers who go to the bathroom or leave for vacations must not miss important plot points(b) continual, incessant repetition of the slow-moving plot, see (a)
Today is National Cheese Day. No, I’m not talking about politics or politicians, but about a delicious food made from spoiled milk, not an unsavory conflation made from spoiled pork …
Anyway, what is your favorite cheese, and cheese dish, if you have one? Or two, or more? I wonder what cheeses the Robber Mice favor.
Do your cats like cheese? If so what kind or kinds? Waffle is relatively indifferent to cheese. 8-ball likes Bleu, Stilton, Ricotta, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Colby, and medium Cheddar. MrrrCavity will eat anything.
They need to get a DVR so they can pause real time TV for litter box breaks.
I wish the magician cat was not just a supporting character, he’s the cutest character ever.
Bandit is such a good brother.
I hate it when people have the delusion that they were helped by Cat and are now on a mission to “help” me.
Let There Be Peace on Earth
Let me help all my friends,
And let it all start with me,
Let me help all my friends
An example please let me be!
With direction from high above
Brothers all are we!
Let me give my brother
The help that he really needs!
Let me start by helping now!
No matter what it takes,
Let this be my solemn vow!
To help my friends and bring joy to my friends
Each moment to share with glee!
And let it begin with me!!!
sigh Zazzle emailed me to say they’re cancelling my order for puzzles.

Repost from above, re: Diesel: Hi everyone – THANK YOU so much for your good wishes! Diesel is home safe and feeling much better: he’s playing with his treat ball right now. He showed no additional symptoms or worrying behavior overnight – other than defending himself so vigorously against the vets that they couldn’t even take a blood sample! All signs point to a reaction to the topical flea ointment, which would be set on fire angrily if I had any of it left. No more of that stuff, EVER!
Ever since Lily died we have been putting food out in her bowl for any cat that wants it. Last night Jora told me that the food was getting eaten faster the last few days. We suspect we found out why today when a gorgeous grey kitten, maybe 6-8 months old crossed the front of the driveway just as we got home. S/he is quite skinny and darted across the yard when Jora opened her car door so I’m betting that it will be a while before we find out anything about it other than it doesn’t have a collar. We had cleaned and disinfected the cat house on the front porch so the grey fuzzball has a place to hide, if s/he wants.
“Have you heard the good mews?”
Found out today that the synchronous firefly tours in the Great Smoky Mountains have been cancelled for 2020. I checked their website because I put my name in the lottery for this year’s tour minth hs ago and hadn’t heard anything back. Oh well, maybe next year.
“Dangnabit, I’m gonna help you whether you like or not!”
My dear Mega-Orb, I need to ask for help once more. My faithful little car (12 years old and yes, it’s called Kitty) has a worn-out ignition switch and a replacement is like $300 (I’ll know more tomorrow) and once again, anything helps. Kitty keeps my business in motion, takes my old roommate to places the trains don’t (yet) go, and takes Foxy to her vet appointments. And thank you. It’s paypal.me/iloragarden.
