Between the litany of state, federal, and international charges facing Santos, and the long list of state and federal charges facing Trump (who is rumored to be indicted in New York state early next week), the 2024 elections should be interesting.

The folks holding the puppet strings of the Cult dearly love the EmpTGee & Co. because she and Santos and the rest of the heart of the clown show that is at the heart of the GQP distract the suckers & losers from the little men behind the curtain. 90 years ago German power brokers tried the same thing with a ridiculous buffoon of an Austrian wall paper hanger and look what happened. Those power brokers thought only of themselves in the exact same way the oligarchy today does. Power blinds them of what happens next more than it blinds them of anything in a history book. The price of the wakeup call that they indeed are not Gods is costly to everyone and yet once again time will remind us all of that

@Argythree Anyone who is not scared should read The Oppermanns, by Lion Feuchtwanger. about a Jewish family in Germany in the thirties. It was written in 1934. The way the characters discussed Hitler then is the way that people discuss Trump now. Complete with armed thugs who attack anyone who does not like The Leader.
