That’s what my dog does if he wants his friend’s bone, he’ll toss a ball in the air and exhuberantly play with it with exaggerated motions to distract her, then when she comes over to see, he’ll drop it and run for her bone!
Back in the “Land Line” day’s, my older sister had her own phone in her room, with a separate number from the main phone that was in the kitchen. We both had our favorite spot to watch T.V. The living room couch. The couch was occupied on a “First come, First serve” basis with the rule of “You move you loose” When she would get the couch before me, I would go into the kitchen and call her bedroom phone knowing that she would jump up and vacate the couch to go answer the phone, leaving the couch wide open for me to hang up and claim my spot on the couch! My Mom never told her what was going on and I got away with it for about a year before she figured it out!

Three days ago it implied that the empanadas had to go into a bowl first.

I guess on the west coast it’s “La Bamba.” On the east coast, it’s “Guantanamera.”
