   Mine was a hand-me-down 1955 Chrysler New Yorker with a 300 something Hemi and a TWO speed automatic transmission. That thing was built like a tank, would do 45 in first gear, and I never found it’s upper limit. No, my parents were anything but rich, my dad just believed in buying the best quality he could afford, and he bought it used in about 1959. It threw a rod in 1970 when I was in college and went to a junk yard. In retrospect, what a waste.

   The underlying reason is that he wasn’t found guilty by the Senate, under the leadership of McConnell, who passed the buck to the courts, who are now saying since he wasn’t found guilty buy the senate….. Now we are all paying for his kowtowing to the MAGA base.
