Some states make it almost this difficult for “some people” to vote. Unlike Oregon or Washington, for instance, where the ballot is mailed to you and you can vote in the quiet of your own home (and with references of your choice around you to inform your vote). It’s why politicians from Oregon keep pushing the idea that everyone should have it that easy… instead of just the very rich or white.

I hand carried my mail in ballot to the Board of Elections office yesterday. I don’t trust the postal service anymore. Too bad we can’t vote out Dejoy.

Just who have we been electing that delay, obstruct, blame each other, and refuse to work for the people, instead serving the rich and powerful almost exclusively? We’ve had almost a quarter of a millennium to make our Congress and Courts trustworthy and dependable … yet have allowed those who exploit loopholes and ambiguities to corrupt and infiltrate these organizations with greedy, biased, inept, senile, radical, and self-serving individuals with no honor or integrity. Who would have thought that fascist-style leadership could ever come to power, in our once freedom-loving nation, by destroying trust in each other and representative government?

Here in Texas I have no doubt fascism will emerge victorious next month.

But voting is not the only thing. Hitler came to power with “the vote”. Yes vote, but please don’t vote for the Fascists

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! Vote, and VOTE BLUE to fight Fascism!! Remember, when Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag, and waving a Bible.

Meanwhile, jack booted GOP fascists are manning dug in positions firing everything they’ve got to leave un-cast ballots bleeding to death on the beaches.

And it’s not just about right-wing fascism we are voting against. It’s about also voting FOR women and their right to bodily autonomy.

Vote Blue. It’s up to you.

If Republican Legislatures get their way we may have to fight to get our votes counted.

Register. Educate. Vote. Validate. Celebrate.Celebrate, whether it’s your candidate or position that won or lost. Celebrate that we live in a functional democracy where we have rights and responsibilities.Celebrate “One From Many”.

One of the candidates for the local school board is using “God country, family” without the commas as his slogan. I know at least one candidate I’m not voting for.

My grandfather landed on the shores of Normandy on such a boat. In his memory, I will absolutely do my part to fight fascism at home.

Repubs are now trying to pretend that they really didn’t want to stop abortions, they just wanted a “balanced decision”. If you actually read Roe v Wade decision, elective abortion is until viability and medical reasons are required after viability – sounds pretty balanced to me.

There are plenty of Repubs including Thomas talking about allowing states to ban birth control, followed by gay marriage and who knows what else. Let’s overturn Loving v Virginia and get Ginni out of Clarence’s ear!

Guess those guys don’t know that they have landed on a “nude” beach.
