Looks like Rodney is still recovering from his injuries in yesterday’s strip. Many comic strip characters make amazing overnight recoveries.

I don’t ask that. I ask how it looks on me. He either tells me it’s good, it’s great, or it doesn’t show me to best advantage.

My go to answer for that question is “How could it possibly make a vision of loveliness like you look fat?”

She doesn’t need a dress to look fat.

Ha! That’s the most lethal question a wife can ask her husband….

Does Blanche have another dress besides the purple one she usually wears?

I always thought the answer to that was no… am I wrong or is there a double-meaning behind that question?

Wiz, Wiz, the proper answer is, “You always look better without the dress!”

This makes me think of the funniest Wizard of Id I ever saw, many years back. Rodney is interviewing applicants for a maid position in the castle, and he is talking with a woman applying for the job (she comes complete with a broom). He asks her what experience she has, and she responds that she has been a housewife. So Rodney asks her “But have you ever had a real job?” The last panel is of the doctor on the telephone (?) saying “You need a broom removed from where???”.

… and it started at the other end.

You should have known that was a loaded question………
