That reminds me of the time that the district boss told us to “work smarter, not harder”. People who say stupid things like that are the people who have an education, but no work experience.
Yes Joan has ALWAYS worked from home even when she lived with her sister, Val before she married Wally.
Wally is a SWEETHEART and is a good dad.
If you didn’t notice, she’s using her toe to rock the rocking horse as well, and in the other frame she’s CHANGING Max’s DIAPER because he’s not potty trained yet. AND she’s on a tether.
An OLDER PHONE with curled CORD that you could get 50 foot ones at Radio Shack and stretch them to twice that and later they made them 100 foot lengths! I know, I had one that I bought that I stretched from the kitchen wall phone thru the kitchen, down the hallway to the tiny crammed bathroom when I was desperate to get to the pot while my sons were still in school for a few moments before getting home after I got home from my own job cooking at an elementary school… ROFLMAO
this was (for me with the cords and here) back in the late 80’s and early 90’s people. Before mobile phones (cell phones) and it was probably dial rotary phones when she drew this as she’s Canadian LOL
plus, that’s an old fashioned FAX machine on her desk as well.So she at least has TWO phone lines so she CAN talk as well as recieve faxes.

It would help, IF, she didn’t have a traumatic 3-year old running amok in her office ! ! ! !

I had a manager suggest I needed to learn to multi task. He didn’t like my comeback of “Screwing up many things at once instead of just one.”

The first time I had a manager say “Work smarter, not harder”, I thought it was clever, but I soon realized what BS that phrase is.

Oh, but I can. In fact, I’m getting a new phone number as we speak so you can’t call me again.
