Today is Taco Day, Kale Day and Vodka Day, but we must insist on celebrating Cinnamon Bun Day (also known as Cinnamon Roll Day -- they're the same thing).

It's nothing against the other edibles (well... maybe kale), it's just that I went to IKEA last weekend and could smell their cinnamon rolls the entire time I browsed the warehouse's LEGO-like furnishings. It only makes sense that IKEA serves cinnamon buns. After all, Cinnamon Bun Day originated in IKEA's home country of Sweden, where it's been celebrated as "Kanelbullens dag" since 1999. Sadly, I don't think I've eaten a cinnamon bun since 1999, when Cinnabon and tubed grocery store dough were a bigger part of my life... how I long for thee, cinnamon rolls...
