My take on this new arc? WOOT, YEAH!!! Teach the young’uns archery! It’s an awesome, inclusive sport!

Great pie fight at the end of “Bugsy Malone” (good luck finding THAT one…)!

I can relate to this comic all too well. After graduating from a small town high school where everybody knew me as the darling of the art/design program, I went to art school in The Big City…where I was immediately lost in the sea of strangers, and professors who didn’t give two hoots if I showed up or not…just turn in the required assignments by the end of the term and don’t make excuses. They were not there to hold my hand. It was a major culture shock…I felt lost and overwhelmed, and I hated it. After two miserable years I dropped out and went to work as a production artist in a factory that made embroidered patches. Three years doing that and I was ready to take another stab at college, with VASTLY different results! I knew what was expected of me and was ready to seize the challenge! I graduated two years later at the top of my class. Morals of my story; 1. College is not for everybody, and that’s perfectly okay. 2. Gap years are an invaluable tool for growth. 3. Don’t be afraid to admit when you’re in over your head…come back when you’re ready!
