Well, there the former Governor of the Moon, as most here expected. To avenger09, there’s your explanation for why Tracy put his sweater on before answering the door. That’s where he keeps his gun, but the ex-Gov is not impressed by it.

It’s always a good way to start off a conversation, threaten the other person in his home.

Gov seems to be a little sarcastic snarky with Dick… I thought Dick and Gov were on good terms with each other… maybe whatever emergency has brought him to Tracy’s door is putting him into a foul mood…

Just because you’re from the dark side of the moon doesn’t give you an excuse to be rude. Moon Governor acting all surly, “I’m gonna melt your little toy" and all.

Now the (ex) Moon Governor knows at least as well as anyone on earth that he moon has no dark side. A far side, yes. But that side is in sunlight half the time.

The ladies had met the ex Gov before and should have recognized his “signal” as it being him. Cute trick Mike pulled, running the recent sequence as though the ladies were sensing the (ex) Moon gov’s emanation as if for the first time. :-(  Boo, Hiss !

Well, Dick…aren’t you going to invite him in? He is family, after all.

This guy looks like trouble. I think Tracy should shoot him.

Finally! Does anyone remember the story where Mysta is destroying a tombstone and also these mysterious characters in the background?

The former Governor was last seen in Tracyville when he sought out Posie Ermine at a coffee shop (12/3/17). Both became entangled with Sawtooth, which was fatal for Posie. Diet Smith told Tracy that the (now ex-) Moon Governor had a fleet of five space coupes. Honeymoon’s crimefighting skills and friendship with Crystal (whose mother was the late Ugly Christine) were developed, and the Sawtooth story was a ripping good show. While the brief meeting between Mysta and the former Governor was anticlimactic (given the fact that Mysta shares so very many of his murdered daughter’s qualities), it was revealed that dissipating oxygen on Moon Valley had forced the Lunarians to relocate at a secret location on Earth (2/12/18). Good to see the former Governor again. The “Moon era” is a favorite of mine and I look forward to this tale.

The moon doesn’t have a “dark side”. It has a “far side” that’s always facing away from Earth, but it has a day and night cycle every month and the days are pretty darned bright.

Is he running against Florida Governor Rick Santiago ? They are both out of this world !!!

Good thing Tracy is big enough to overlook that the Moon Governor is a jerk.

What did the Moon Governor expect? It’s not like he sent out a fax saying he would be paying Tracy a visit.

Someone has mentioned his last appearance in the strip was 2018. Not bad for a person who has been off the grid so to say. Maybe the governor and those with him grow their own food.

Is this storyline about to be a cross between Spider Man, the Fantastic Four, Space Ghost and similar fare?

Has the governor been to Tracy’s house before? Oh, he went on the internet and looked him up.

Is he running against Florida Governor Rick DeSantis ? They are both out of this world !!!

Maybe the writers can pit him against Mr Memory, and have the Governor short circuit Memory’s brain implants!!!

MYSTA (to Honeymoon): You thought when I said I was going to see your grandfather, you thought I meant Tracy, right? LOL

The Moon governor doesn’t make much sense here regarding Tracy’s side arm.

1. If MG can melt the weapon at will, he has nothing to fear from it.2. If the MG trusts Tracy, he has nothing to fear from Tracy.3. If the MG understands Tracy’s occupation, he knows that the sidearm is necessary for his work.4. If the MG understands himself as a visitor, he can’t very well accept an invitation in and make demands (and threats) on his hosts, especially when he has a far greater weapon that he himself can’t “put away”. Does he expect Tracy to trust him if he doesn’t trust Tracy, or is he up to playing the game of power where the being with the most power wins regardless of who is “right”?

I’d be suspicious of the Moon Governor if I were Tracy.

Well,3-day Holiday coming up;so you won’t be hearing from me again until Tuesday 5th.

By then,perhaps we’ll see some fireworks in the strip as well as on the 4th.

In the meantime,we can use the Holidays to start a Go Fund Me page for the Moon Governor’s wife,so she can afford to hire a top divorce attorney.

How she’s put up with this guy since 1964 is something I’ll never understand.

Never seen him before and I already don’t like him.

The “Governor” is a rude so-so giving orders in someone else’s house and the gun IS put away, it is IN a holster, NOT in Tracy’s hand! Slam the door in the jerk’s face and tell him if he wants to talk to you come to your office when you are back on duty.

For someone who has come undoubtedly in search of Tracy’s aid, this arrogant snob. a former government leader, totally lacks diplomatic skills.

I would be seriously tempted to slam the door in his face, but for the sake of Mysta and Honeymoon….
