After a great meal (ie at The Precinct or Ruth’s Christ) The Count and Countess like both talk and Z. And esp what comes between the two. If you know what I mean and I think you do. ;9 Highly recommended. P.S. No, not Netflix.

For me “talk” means going upstairs, locking the door…..

Food coma imminent.

I havent seen nermal on the strip anymore.

And Garfield likes to sleep after dinner. And before dinner. And he would like to sleep during dinner, too, but he hasn’t yet mastered the art of swallowing while asleep.

You’re a hypocrite, Garfield. You tease Jon about not being able to have a proper conversation with Liz, yet you’re just as bad as he is when you’re with Arlene.

Arlene must be getting a great whiff of Garfield’s after dinner breath.

Yeah. That happens here. Dinner at 5, husband snoring at 6:15 for 30 min or so, then up til 1 am…sigh

He is talking but all he is saying is a big Z cuz he’s sleeping LOL. Poor lady. Did they just come from dinner? It’s pretty light outside. I know where I am at least “the mountain time zone” it’s pretty dark pretty early this time of year so I bet they’re not from here LOL. Or else I’d have seem ’em!

Lucky for him, his species is known for sleeping more time than awake.

Looking at Garfield’s smile in panel 2, I get the idea he was thinking of a different 4 letter word.
