Let’s see now….Do I want to vote for elected officials who support the overthrow of the government to which they were elected…?

    I’m thinking not.

The Faux Confederate News keeps telling their millions of tragically misinformed viewers that it’s the Democrats that are trying to steal the elections by not allowing the GQP to secure them.

AND THEY BELIEVE THEM.The new laws are written and are able to be read and understood. The truth is in black and white in front of their eyes. How do you get the GQP base to use some other source of information other than the Confederate News stations? The key is to stop those spreading lies to those so wanting to believe them.

Oh it is so hard to choose. Free speech, the constitution, freedom of religious choice, the right to assemble, shop were ever I want to, be black or brown, be gay and happy.

I think maybe the democratic choice will suit me.

I am growing tired of Republicans that ignore human rights and what our nation was founded on. The founders should have had the guts to get rid of slavery then. But they had too many slave owners making the rules. Now we have Republicans trying to bring it back.

And women should have always had the vote. They usually do in the household and are often correct.

Have we waited too long to defend democracy now that a sizeable cohort equates big lies with the truth and has no respect for anyone who does not share their beliefs? How do we find a peaceful solution when there is so much hatred for those who have a different view?

Excellent, really really on target. I know what i choose. I grew up being a flag waving military brat who was always so proud that my dad was one of the heroes who served for 20 years and fought in two wars. If he were still here he would be appalled at what the Orange nazi-loving Putin-suckup-Puppet has down to our country. So how do we stop another assault on our democracy? We continue to support our constitutional government…vote every repug OUT of office forever. “Accountability” should be the leading platform for the Dems. Oh…yeah…and stop letting the wealthy 1%es getting a free ride, stop them exploiting the workers, stop them from “buying” politicians to do their bidding.

Remember this – the RethugliCan’ts don’t understand words and do not and will not “waste time” by looking up what the words mean. They failed to see the difference between the words “social,” “socialize,” “socialized,” and “socialist”. What on earth then makes you think they see any difference whatsoever between “democracy,” “democratic,” “democratically,” and “Democrat”? This alone proves how dangerous stupid people in numbers can be. Tell me you don’t think a number of dummies didn’t read the word as “Democrat” and were offended that it was listed first, and that it didn’t kick their lizard brain into high gear hate mode.

    Republican-controlled states:

Minutes to vote in rural areas

Hours-long lines discouraging voters in urban areas

    Now that’s democracy!

The Republicans are merely trying to emulate their idol’s idol, Vladimir Putin. In Russia, the peasants vote for whom they are told to vote for. Look how well that works for them. As their idol has said, “What have you got to lose?” /s

Vote! 2022 is going to determine 2024. Everything the GOP is and isn’t doing is geared to taking back the House and Senate in 2022.

That American principal of “Free Speech” has gotten you into this mess. Allowing the media to run wild with innuendo, lies and distortions has warped the minds of many. Propaganda is a powerful force and the republicans are using it to their advantage.. they will win.

But, let’s also face reality.. America’s version of democracy has a lot of flaws in all levels of government.

As for the US, we are a Republic, not a democracy.

Jefferson wanted a democratic-republic. So do we and we demand to be recognized in relation to our votes directly as we grow and change as a nation.

You can vote …..IF you can get to the polling place on time, prove who you are, pass a color check, wait in line for hours, without sustenance……………And still, the GQP see nothing wrong. There are none so blind………….

I must say that Trump didn’t create the GOP base. He just found them where the GOP elites left them.

The Republican elites spent the last 50 years recruiting every person too ignorant and racist to follow the money. That gave them two results they wanted. These sad people provide votes to defeat the urban areas in state wide and national elections.

On the rare occasion that they asked where the money was, the elites told them minorities took the money. That got the same response from the GOP base that I get from my dog when I say “squirrel” to my dog. They foam at the mouth, bark as loud as they can, and do their best to kill to source of their anger.

The GOP elites laugh at their base on the way to their off shore banks. Trump, being a 3rd generation con man, racist, draft dodger, pimp, and white collar criminal, he knew just what to do with a political party full of rubes too ignorant and racist to follow the money.
