Exactly. The GOP needs to change their logo to the 3 monkeys. It fits the way they approach every issue that involves listening to facts.

Tell me again the advantage to a binary mutually-exclusive bitterly-opposing party system when one side never listens to or works with the other side for the common good of the country they claim to love.

The current “logic” being used by Trump’s lawyer regarding him residing at Mar-a-Lago demonstrates why the impeachment trial is necessary. The lawyer says that since Trump has violated the agreement with Palm Beach several times in the past without repercussions, then they can’t object to Trump living there now. Trump has spent his entire life getting away with things and it needs to stop NOW.

The lack of justice and accountability is toxic to any society.

“Justice should not only be done but should manifestly and undoubtedly be seen to be done”.

Not a real trial, not a real jury, just a dog and pony show. The real trials are coming soon. Stay tuned as Trump is now a private citizen and there are many ready to sue him. After this show is over things will be open for criminal trials. “Stay Tuned”.

I can’t wait for the spin, after this is all over.. from those who are flaunting the very institution they have sworn to uphold.. Will that time tested saying “It’s okay if a Republican does it” still work?

The Republican senators are confronted with a decision. Do they continue to support President Loser and his willingness to advocate insurrection that leads to death and destruction or do they suffer the wrath of the dummies that elected them by following the principles of goodness and justice as put forth in the Constitution of the United States? After writing that sentence I nearly spat my coffee all over the computer screen. Obviously, the spineless Republican Senators will cater to their AR-15 toting mental midgets and continue to support President Donito Trumpolini.

All the GOP Senators who refused to pay attention should be held in contempt.

I mean contempt of court (even though it’s not technically a court), they’re already in contempt of the rest of us!

These Senate impeachment trails are the only trials I’ve ever heard of where the jurors publicly proclaim their verdicts long before the trial even starts…

Never should have left Nixon off the hook like they did. It’s come back far worse and bit us all in the derrière. There’s a lesson there and the Republicans need to heed it or next time it’ll be worse. And there will be a next time as sure as the sun rises in the east.

You forgot to include the Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy acting as Judge and Jury.

Roberts refused to participate in the grotesque charade.

If they can be so loose with their oath to the Constitution why wouldn’t they be at least as loose with their swearing in as jurors? These are not public servants – they are in it because no one in their right mind would hire them, i.e. the voters in Louie Gohmert and Ted Cruz districts.

Some are hoping for a “Hung Jury” in the most important ’Trial" in history. Others are thinking that those voting “NO” should be hung like Trump wanted done to HIS OWN VICE PRESIDENT to steal the election.

How could they sweat an oath to be impartial when they made up their minds the moment Little Donnie was impeached? But then, republican’ts are good at ignoring the oaths they’ve taken…
