I think you missed my point, the material posted on right wing sites make that on left leaning ones look like things taught in a Sunday school class, at least the Sunday school classes that still follow Jesus’s greatest commandment…. As for the nature of the cartoonists, there are a few strong right leaning one but the majority see and draw things as they are pointing out the weaknesses and ironies of both sides. That the realities are the right now wants to turn the clock back a hundred and sixty years and ignore the rights of all men while refusing to accept that change for the good in the world comes from those who are willing to think and move forward is their loss and a detriment to the world.

The fact is there have been two Americas since the Virginia House of Burgesses in 1619 and 1662 codified laws of slavery and slaves rights. From that point on the idea of white supremacism has been part of the American psyche. An evil over 400 years of fighting racism and a civil war hasn’t erased. Whether a twisted fantasy of genetic superiority or just the hard wired human desire of poor ignorant whites to have someone to feel superior to, it’s a wrong we as humans haven’t found a way to right. That evil politicians play to it every election cycle and we in turn fall for it is the greatest damnation of our nation.

You really shouldn’t be so quick to forgive the abuse given by zealous right wingers on their turf. Most really is of lower intelligence. At least those on the left tend to be more creative with the use of sarcasm and invective as opposed to the president’s vulgar school yard caliber insults and threats.

The vote in the house to condemn Trump for racism basically confirms what we’ve felt for some time, the Republican party has become nothing more that the organized face of racism in America in choosing to support their racist leader over Americas national ideals they have proven themselves and their party to be of the same caliber and mindset as the fire eaters, secessionists, and copperheads of the 1850’s and 60’s. Those men nearly split the Union, these men wish to destroy the entire nation for their own personal gain. …or maybe Russia’s….

It seems to be a mark of cowardice on twitters part for not shutting down his access since this should be the last straw in breaking their own rules against hate speech and promoting racial hatred….

Off hand I’d say it’s just short of a miracle that that little plaque isn’t facing a dead planet with nothing but decaying ruins on it…..

If he has any intelligence I’d say he was trying to create the Fourth Reich, but then other than having Hitler as an idol I doubt he’s smart enough to know what the Third Reich was. He like a four year old, just wants to be in control of the whole world, something that can never happen except in his fantasies.

He won’t realize his position is hopeless until the water is boiling and it’s too late to get away….. The question is can the nation survive until it does.
