You wanted tax breaks and judges. Your stink is going to be around a long, long time.

Besides, Jeff, what makes you think the party wants to get rid of it?

The “Republicans” did not have these problems before they welcomed the radical extremist white supremacists and politicized “evangelicals” did they?

Republicans are going to stink forever.

Fox ‘news’ calls Biden, radical, extremist and leftist.

There are 25,000 troops around Bidens inauguration to protect him from the insane violent loser people who listen to anti-American Fox lies.

They’d better come up with something that’s going to work. Otherwise, they’re doomed if they stay where they are.

It would help if you didn’t keep renewing or tolerating alt-right extremism… yeah, people will judge you for your behavior these past four years – but they will forget if you stop behaving like that… even better, if you offer sincere apologies backed with helpful and unifying actions that will heal the wounds much more quickly…

That stench is their own. They’ve been working their way towards fascism for years. tRump was just the poster-boy for America’s NAZI and racists they needed to attempt a total take over.

In the last panel, I see that the elephant has a cup that says “GIVE”…

…maybe he needs to add a few letters…

    “FORGIVE”

Apologies and acknowledgements of mistakes would go a long way with America. I trust Biden to both give and receive apologies, let’s see if the elephant can man up.

The Trump brand would have been better off if Trump had lost in 2016. The country would have been far, far better off with Hilary, I would not have liked it and probably have blamed her for the pandemic. But Trump was and is a disaster looking for a place to happen.

We need to fund the recruitment of a talented hazmat team to oversee the deep-cleaning of our nation over the next few years. Our survival could well depend upon it.

The stink won’t go away until they renounce the Big Lie.

There is increasing talk from many quarters about Dems needing to help heal the nation rather than going after accountability, which would supposedly keep the wound open. I call BS. Dems can’t do a damn thing about healing as long as the Big Lie is believed – you can’t even begin to have a conversation with someone who believes the lie. It is up to the GOP to deal with the fact that THEIR people believe the lie and even that may be close to impossible.

The Times reports today that Fox paid millions to the family of Seth Rich in a settlement over the vicious lies told about him on that propaganda channel. They paid so much that the family agreed to keep quiet about the settlement until after the election (which was free and fair, except for the massive voter suppression by the GOP). The timing of the settlement came just before Hannity and Dobbs were scheduled to testify under oath.

The lies about a “stolen” election could also cost the networks millions, as those duped into believing the lies may well decide to sue over the jail time and expenses they now face.

They should start with a 500 gallon enema, burn the clothes, pull the FCC broadcasting license for those who transmit hate, lies and misinformation then put the GOP elephant in the Moscow Zoo as a gift from his favorite debtor.

Trump is a sub-literate mob boss with a fondness for white supremacists and a penchant for conspiracy theories and a downright nasty person. And between Trump and McConnell and the rest of the Republican enablers, our democracy is in tatters.

Republicans HAVE to lie.. When people are given a choice of two statements on issues that actually affect their everyday life, one that describes the Republican position and the other the Democrat’s, the Democratic position is chosen by about 80% of Democrats and Independents. No surprise there. The weird part is that just under half of Republicans also choose Democrat positions, unless they are told which position is supported by each party. Then they fall into line and choose the Republican option- 78% of the time. So, it is entirely reasonable for Republicans to lie a lot. The people running the Republican party are in that half of the Republicans who actually believe in Republican positions. They are roughly 25% of the voting public. They have no chance of ever winning a national election unless they keep as many people as possible from voting and keep the rest of them confused enough to vote against their own best interests.

Dump the Reactionaries. Prosecute Trump, his eldest son and that son’s wife who encouraged violence, others who encouraged the coup, and those members of Congress who facilitated and abetted the coup. THAT will work! (Otherwise, Republicans who honor the Constitution will need to form a new party which reflects that stance. Perhaps the Constitutionalists?)

    It is popping up everywhere:

    QUOTE FROM THE HILL

“The last time the Senate convened, we had just reclaimed the Capitol from violent criminals who tried to stop Congress from doing our duty. The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people,” McConnell said on the Senate floor, marking the first convening of the full Senate since the attack.

    END QUOTE

A successful impeachment can lead into a vote upon DT violating the 14th Amendment which would mean that he could no longer hold a public office once the vote goes against him.

There are some members of Congress who are also likely to face charges of violating the 14th by assisting the attempted coup.
