Chesney to the rescue!
Reminds me of when my husband fell asleep watching some sports match or other. When I turned off the TV, he jerked awake and yelled, HEY! I WAS WATCHING THAT!
I’ve always thought that anti abortion laws were more about anti-sex than babies. Where is Lysistrata when we need her? And why aren’t the men who impregnated these women brought to justice of some sort? And why not “pack” the court with a variety of religions and ideologies so various points of view can be represented?
There’s one guy in our state running for state legislator, on the slogan, “How come the dead guys always vote for Democrats?” Yuck!
As member of a small congregation of Unitarian Universalists, I fear that taxing us would totally destroy us (or move us to a a basement). We tend to allow our members to make up their own minds about what we believe. That said, recent developments in the UUA, our governmental, body, point toward mandating a long winded “ eighth principle” which is more political than sensible, since the first seven very neatly cover everything that’s in it. What’s going on in this world?
I had a friend who, in his eighties, frequently opined, “Looks like we’ll be checking out at just the right time.”
My daughter lives in Tennessee. She has volunteered to drive anyone who needs an abortion to the nearest “free” state
Interestingly, my disabled daughter, who has been married for a month, is having problems with hubby who doesn’t understand that she’s allowed to say “no”.
I’m worried for my trans granddaughter.
me, too! We need a constitutional amendment that requires the SCOTUS to represent an even number of men and women, and more than one religion!
