A stain on the Republican* legacy?

    Are you kidding, Ramirez?

    .

The Republican legacy IS a stain.

    .

    Trickle down.

    Tax preferences for billionaires.

    Continuous insider trading

    9/11, followed by:

    Invasion of Iraq.

Pardoning of contractors who slaughter civilians

    Crashing of the economy TWICE.

    Treason, including collusion with Russia

Laundering Russian money for ‘campaign contributions’.

    Continuous LYING about every issue

Making sh!t up to LIE about.

333,000 American covid deaths because “We want them infected.”

    .

    A fraction of the stains.

And thanks for all YOUR contributions, Ramirez.

    .

What’s one more stain on top of those already there? The obscene debacle that is the GOP today is the cherry on top of a very large pile of self-serving actions of morally questionable “ governing”.

The last few years have shown the GOP to be more about domination and control than about leadership, More about lock step unity than courage, more about self service than about fiscal responsibility, and more about destruction of the opposition than about moral or ethical character. The real tragic and scary factor is how many Americans share, gather for, and cheer for such “qualities”!

The GOP will be lucky to survive Trump. He’s literally in the process of blowing it up now. If he vetoes the omnibus bill and forces the House/Senate to override it, he’ll beat the GOP over the head with it for 4 years. Trump is the GOP’s “Frankenstein’s monster”.

They built him and they will reap what they’ve sewn.

When a religion or political party is based solely on faith — and ignores reality or creates its own fake reality — that cannot produce measurable positive results, but instead causes great harm and unnecessary deaths, it is time to take responsibility for these grievous errors and make positive changes that actually benefit humanity.

“Too Little Proof”? The fact is, “No Proof Whatsoever”; none; nada. His Petulance, the Capo, could not bang on the law, for the law refutes his efforts to overturn the results; he could not bang on the facts, for the facts refute his efforts to overturn the results. All he can do is what he has done all his life in every single situation when it was shown that he was lying: bang on the table, like the petulant two-year-old narcissistic, Machiavellian, psychopathic would-be despot he will always be.

The Donor Class and Political Elites of both parties have wanted President Trump gone by any means necessary since he won the nomination in 2015. Too much power and money involved for both sides, for them to have a populist like President Trump derailing their gravy train.

NEW YORK – Why would a US president in the last weeks of his administration want to start executing federal prisoners at a furious pace, even as he pardons four American mercenaries who murdered 14 Iraqi civilians in cold blood? The federal government has killed ten men already this year – more judicial killings than in all of America’s states combined. Three more executions remain to come before Donald Trump leaves office next month – one for a murder committed when the condemned man was barely 18 years old, and one the first woman put to death by the federal government in 70 years.…Many commentators in the past four years have pointed out that Trump was driven by an obsessive desire to tear down everything his predecessor had built. Various reasons were given: Trump’s deep insecurity; his playing to his base; or his own racial prejudices. I think Leys’ anecdote about the Australian café offers the best explanation. Trump had to erase the image of high civilization that Obama represented. He had to drag it down to his own level.

Trump’s COVID Relief Gambit: Throw Out Electoral College Votes, or Watch Republican Senate Die.

Trump’s last minute attacks on the COVID-19 relief bill is all about forcing Congressional Republicans to dispute Joe Biden’s victory come January 6th. Trump is so stupid and delusional that he doesn’t realize that Congressional Republicans will not eventually “triumph” in overturning the election results because of simple math. But Trump doesn’t care. Trump will pocket veto the COVID-19 relief package to hurt Perdue’s and Loeffler’s campaigns and destroy Republican rule in the U.S. Senate, unless Moscow Mitch gets his minions to challenge Joe Biden’s victory.

The GOP brand hasn’t been worth much since Nixon. It has to rely on gimmicks and disenfranchisement to stay in power. As some Republican have admitted: If there were free and fair elections, Republicans would never win another election.

In my youth, the republican party was the party of opposition the honorable opposition. Since Nixon’s so-called Southern strategy in which he took on the Dixiecrat nut jobs, the Republican party has taken on any nut job ideology that has gone by. The tea party, the latest patriots that formed the freedom caucus, and probably a number that I don’t even remember. Trump has taken on the white militia nut jobs to the point that it seems today that the GOP is a refuge for all those who think they are owed something by the others. Definitely not the republican party that I grew up with.

The lawsuits were dismissed WITHOUT considering evidence: 1. Of state judges or officials setting aside election rules [when the U.S. Constitution says: “State legislatures set the rules for elections.”] 2. Of thousands of sworn statements, detailing fraud, from ACTUAL observers of the swing state ‘vote counting’ . 3. Republican observers WEREN’T allowed to observe the count of ‘mail-in ballots’ that arrived by private vehicles at 4 am on November 4. [ALL the Democrat-machine run cities in the swing states STOPPED the count, to wait on ‘mail-in ballots’.] To believe that Biden won, I would need proof that the hundreds of thousands of ‘mail-in ballots’ with only ONE mark for Biden/Harris on them, are NOT ALL bogus Democrat cheater votes. Do they have folds from being mailed? Does the number of votes cast NOT exceed the number of registered voters? Are the registered voters less than 120 years old? Proof that tabulating machines DON’T allow ballots to be counted twice by reading the printed number on the ballot? Proof that Dominion tabulating machines can’t take a stack of equal numbers of Trump and Biden ballots and say Biden’s total is 26% higher [by subtracting Trump votes and giving them to Biden?] Proof that the 68% error rate didn’t give the Democrat adjudicators an UNOBSERVED manual ‘switch a Trump vote to Biden’ power? [Forensic analysis could easily have answered these questions, but by now, the machines have been reset to remove evidence of the ‘Biden advantage’ update the machines got on November 2.]

Re “Too little proof” (as opposed to “no proof at all”): That appears to be simply a matter of conforming to the lyrics of the song. Four/forty, Three, Two/too.

Re Ramirez “seeing the light” or not: He’s never shied away from depicting Trump as damaging to the GOP, or even to the nation (see his many cartoons slamming Trump’s COVID strategy).

He’s not at Catalino’s level of his Trump cartoons being as harsh as anything coming from the left, but clearly he has not been a fan of Trump for quite some time (that doesn’t mean either of them is not “Conservative;” if either produces a cartoon that is explicitly pro-Biden it’ll be a first).

And Mikey, it’s now up to people like you to wrest control back over the party. I wish you well, but for too long the party has pandered to the lowest common denominator in order to gain votes. Never once making any appeals to the better angels in people. You and others in your party have your work cut out for you.
