I think the Constitution would have perhaps benefited from a bit more verbosity. Writer’s cramp be damned!

Maybe if you multiply it by .5 ten times? That would make it less than 1/1000th the size. But foolishness aside, you are right, the top can be 10 times larger than the base, but you can not have something be a multiple smaller than something else any more than you can say something is half as small unless both are being compared to a third object.

There are an infinite number of futures before us both individually and as a planet. Every decision we make eliminates one or more of those futures. Knowing the future is nothing more than a matter of understanding the decision makers and their circumstances, and let’s face it, humans are quite predictable. As for hell, that certainly would make God a jerk, for what is the purpose of creating the capability to end up there knowing how predictable we seem to have been created to be. No rational being would create a possibility of an occurrence that they did not want to be able to occur and if they wanted it to be possible, then how mad could they be when it happens?

I remember the great Boston sandwich controversy. I think it had to do with a sandwich shop in a mall food court with a non-competition lease and the mall allowed a burrito vendor to set up shop near by. Ironically, the ruling made both hot dogs and the “Italian Sandwich” (which was invented just to the north in Portland Maine) to also be not sandwiches.

As of the end of FY 2020, the debt was $26.9 trillion. In 4 years, The Rump added over 6 trillion to the total debt, most of which was done in an “Incredible” economy. His final budget for FY 2021 was to add another $1.5 trillion Not a peep from the right. “W” more than doubled the national debt in his 8 years, hid the war cost by keeping it off the books, and was in charge when the whole economy crashed into the great recession. Not a peep from the right (Until Obama had to spend his way out of it). Now it is Biden’s turn to clean up a mess from the pandemic and Trump’s refusal to take it seriously. Now it is Biden’s turn to get blamed for wanting to be fiscally responsible and raise revenue to pay the bills that the other party left. Yup, it seems a pattern here. Don’t it? It only seems to matter when there is a Democrat to blame.

There are times that I can know while in the dream that it is a dream. However, for some reason just knowing it is a dream does not allow me to manipulate the dream :(
