It is such a pity that the White House will not allow the testimony of all the people that know and can testify as to nothing wrong happening in this issue. Maybe because that would be perjury?

HA! We are running a Trillion dollar deficit, all the extra is just added to that. No one alive today will ever get the bill.

  3. 1 day ago on Stone Soup

me too, I don’t even want bananas in the same bag as the cold food coming home from the store.

  4. 2 days ago on Ripley's Believe It or Not

I understand what he meant, but he didn’t seem to understand what I meant. Our current government seems to exist by the wealthy to promote the wealthy, and protect the wealthy. Whether it is the tax payer or the deficit covering loans, where the money comes from seems far less of a concern than who’s pocket, reelection campaign account, or corporate portfolio it ends up in.

must be nice to be rich enough for the government to be working for you. enjoy your money.

  6. 2 days ago on Ripley's Believe It or Not

Not to mention the coin-star sorter manufacturer’s lobby, they get 8%

  7. 2 days ago on Ripley's Believe It or Not

Many smaller stores do that now, to the nearest 5¢. $3.98 becomes $3.95 when paying cash, plastic still pays $3.98. The most each transaction looses is 4¢ and the store doesn’t have to pay to keep stocking up on pennies.

  8. 2 days ago on Ripley's Believe It or Not

we still make pennies because the donations from the lobby for the makers of the zinc plugs say we do. A government of the money, by the money, for the money.

What the Neocons don’t understand, the whistle-blower is only the catalyst, they set things in motion. Think of it as an anonymous tip that panned out. Even if he or she was only guessing or only partially right, that is not what is going to bring these posers down, it is what real evidence is found after the tip off, and there seems to be plenty.

This new breed of conservative just doesn’t understand how the system works, especially when it comes to whistle blowers. They believe if they can prove that he or she had no first hand knowledge of the crimes, then the people that actually did have first hand knowledge should not have been asked about it and now be ignored. Neocons are very forceful, but not too bright.
