As Clay Jones illustrates, that ship did, indeed, sail a long time ago. And barely out of the harbor, it sank with all hands on board. Or overboard.

As memorialized so eloquently (and accurately) in the title of REPUBLICAN political consultant Rick Wilson’s book, Everything Trump Touches Dies. Including, or especially, the flaming wreckage that was his failed “presidency.”

It is a shame that he had to take down 260,000 dead Americans (and counting), along with all those babies in cages and middle class families whose lives and economic security have been destroyed.

The Trumps have NEVER been “dignified”, even by the standards of slime mold.

He lost any shred of dignity he may have had as soon as he came down that escalator and opened his mouth.

Unfortunately, Hair Groppingfuror is making noises that he will having a “big” announcement or a rally on January 20, 2021 during the Biden inaugeration. Some believe he will announce his candidacy for 2024 to keep the attention on him as much as possible.

In February, 2021, a man goes to the White House to see Donald Trump. He is told by the Marine on duty that Trump is no longer president and that he no longer resides there. Three days in a row the man returns to see Trump and each time the same Marine tells him Trump is no longer president.On the fourth day, the Marine finally asks the man why he keeps coming back asking for Trump when he already knows the answer. The man replies, “I just love hearing you tell me Trump is no longer the president.” The Marine snaps to attention, salutes and says, “See you tomorrow, sir!”

It’s been suggested that Dump will boycott the inauguration out of spite, but would he give up a chance to be seen one more time as, at least, the outgoing president? I have my doubts about that.

“Dignity” is generally concomitant with “civility”. “Gentility”. Are there any questions?
