I have 2 female pups who have made themselves an integral part of the family. For the scuz on the broomstick, I’m going with the W option (and not the more benign Terry Pratchett representation.)

I have been giving thought to “mean-spirited and vindictive” myself. My consideration is that we got into this mess because we have done the “look forward, not backward” bit. There is no negative feedback in this; we just shift a bit more to the right and the next time they get control, they screw us again. Wash, rinse and repeat.

There has to be some claw back (which will piss off a lot of Reich wingers) to get back to a workable equilibrium before we get back to the collegial mode of government. At this point, there’s a lot of clawing to do before we get back to a semblance of a representative republic. I have not given up hope, but I have a fear that there is too much to do and not enough good will on either side to do it. At the end of the day, it takes both sides. It seems that the Right has assumed the “Right makes us!” position. It’s not a long term tenable position.

I continue to hope, but I doubt this will work out well. Sorry, all.

You are referring to the guy that thought it would be a good idea to route the urethra through the prostate? He doesn’t present as a detail guy.

In the real world, the glass is simply twice as large as needed for the given amount of fluid. Just saying… :)

Right… The authoritarian government of Israel joined a brokered deal with Sunni oligarchs to allow them to bomb Shia (Iranian) proxies without repercussions. And we get to sell the Sunnis a metric ass load of high tech weapons through his family’s connectins . I just can’t imagine how the Nobel panels missed the Orange Skidmarks great selfless contributions to peace. SMH…

If memory serves (sometimes it doesn’t) Pusher was around around 1967-1969. I’m pretty sure I was there. I could be wrong about the dates of Pusher but I can’t be arsed to look it up.
