I began college as an art major but soon realized that, while I was okay, there were astounding artists and cartoonists out there with whom I could not compete ... so I ended up in social work. My love for drawing, and appreciation of great comics, remains. Wiley rules!

Brilliant. Joe reminds me of a juror I got stuck with as foreman on a trial panel. On the very first vote, she said loudly “I don’t think he did it,” grinned, and looked at the floor. Her purpose was clear; to be THE most important person of the 12, and the solid center of attention for hours to come. (Asked her reasons, she simply repeated again “I don’t think he did it.”)

I know fear. I had it so strongly for a few minutes during Tet, 1968, that I got the dry heaves. My concerns – our concerns – about SARS-CoV-2 are so far removed from that as to make comparisons laughable. Our concerns are rational, evidence-based, predictive concerns that any reasonably intelligent (say, I.Q. 105+) individual would have. Implying people are pussies for having such concerns is, once again, a fat plate of GQP upchuck.

Irony: The ‘bigger’ government gets, the more the people have to say about what the government does. Knee-jerk (or just plain jerk) reactions to the guv-mint are increasingly laughable these days. Support your local revenuer.

How can you call statements of facts “smears”? Oh yeah – I forget. Republican hero Trumpitis.

Given, there’d be suspension and brake issues, but an F1 car has over 800 horsepower. My F150 XL only has 315 – and tows just fine, thank you.

Um – among other things, if you don’t think China has the equivalent of ‘voter I.D.s’, you might want to read up on party affiliation and voter eligibility.

At least SOMEONE is playing an American dedicated wholeheartedly to democratic ideals. Have you forgotten that, through the efforts of GQPers that corporations are ‘people’ too – and government is therefor partly of, by, and for them?
