Well it’s Jon’s fault of taking Mime lessons

I read that Scooby-doo was intentionally drawn to have all the negative qualities of Great Danes. Is Jon being portrayed the same way? He is into accordion music, clown outfits, and now Mime!! What’s next?!

Right now, Garfield is wondering who the idiot was that let Jon OUT of the box.

Could he hear people from inside that box?

If only Captain Underpants was there, he’d have saved you, Jon. TRA LA LAAAA!

The Mime was one of my favorite characters from the cartoon Animaniacs. Watching that guy injure himself was to entertaining.

I bet he was kicked out of that class for talking.

Poor Jon, he let a mime go to waste!

And then he got whacked with an olive loaf.

“Suburban Commando” was a mad-cap comedy starring Hulk Hogan and featuring many of the professional wrestlers of the day. He plays an alien sent to protect the earth. At one point, he meets a mime. “Oh. Looks like a type 47C force field. Don’t worry buddy, I’ll break you out of it.” Then he clocks the guy right in the face. You can see it on youtube.

Jon still doesn’t learn, mimes are not allowed to talk. right? and they rarely do the trick where you are trapped in a box. Jon, you know better than this… Even you were a mime in The Garfield Show.

One of my favorite bits on the show Taxi was when Jim got trapped in the box.

Garfield, watch out for land mimes.

I knew Jon was stupid, now I know how stupid he really is. Mime? – what a dunderhead!!

Miming is still a thing?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I miss the old days of the strip when Jon actually had a brain. Please, Mr. Davis, let Jon at least have a bit of intelligence again.

Wait didn’t Jon as a mime get beat up by a huge muscular mime when he accidentally hit on that mime’s girlfriend in an earlier comic?

Or maybe he got kicked out for talking.

I agree with Garfield on this one.

If he was getting trapped, he should have spoken up

If you were going to shoot a mime, would you use a silencer?

There was also the time Jon tried to impress a mime lady with his mime act, only to get beat up by her big burly mime boyfriend. Jon broke his silence by moaning in pain.

mime jon is a great jon, though everything he does is great! i just love that guy <3
