Which one is Papa Bear?

Weird.

Now this is a truly inspired piece of weirdness.

This is like a comic strip in another language to me.

Lose the plane, we don’t need it… :o)

been a dead fan all my life and until today had never heard of the dancing bears…

Must be high over Colorado…again.

I still have & wear at times a cap w/ the dancing bears, also a blue plushy bear backpack… :^)

According to Dead sound guru and acid chemist extraordinaire Owsley Augustus Stanley III (AKA “Bear”), who designed them, the Bears aren’t dancing, they’re marching.

Ooh, the colors.

Also remember there being a line of laughing bears, very similar, on bottom row of back of an Alan Sherman album that clearly predated the Dead.

The aircraft must be flying higher than usual.

Okay, maybe that is a sign of some kind of Apocalypse. There are so many out there to happen.

When I was on Active Duty, I was stationed at the Presidio and lived across the street from Golden Gate Park about two blocks west of the Jefferson Airplane. The City was better then before the druggies totally took over.

Pig Pen, Garcia, Mydland, Welnick ( the Keyboard player in the Dead met the same fate as the Drummer in Spinal Tap)
