A week or two ago Rerun was one year old. Is he playing baseball at that age, or has cartoon time stretched him to five now?

Your baseball thingy is far too complicated… Now take cricket…

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.

Each man that’s in the side that’s in goes out, and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.

When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.

Sometimes you get men still in and not out. When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out (the not-outs), …that is the end of the game!

    HOWZAT!!!

You didn’t win the game unless Re-run actually walked to 1st base, and the kid on 3rd base walked home and stepped on home plate …

“Great Scott! It’s the end of the world! …what could have caused this…?”

When I was in high school, our football team was awful. After three years of losing every game (usually quite badly), they tied the very last game of my senior year 6-6. The fans were so happy, they tore down one of the goal posts.

I wonder how the other team felt.

Walked Linus with the bases loaded in a tie game. Now that’s a ‘walk-off’ win! Well done, gang!

Who was pitching, the young Barry Zito? You’re a good man Zito for letting a 1-year-old baby to give a win for Charlie Brown.

Begs to wonder about the other team. Not only did the Peanuts team load the bases but they went into the 9th inning tied. The peanuts gang are usually down 40-0 in the 1st inning. And as someone pointed out, the team has won at least one game maybe another. All when Chuck wasn’t playing.
