Wolf reminds me more and more of Lindsey “Catamite Kid” Graham every time I see his joy, his AWE of his master. I would not be surprised to see Graham wag HIS tail invitingly at his master.
I don’t know how far developed dog object permanence is or if it differs between specific dogs as well. I’ve wondered if dogs get so excited partially because when you’re out of sight, they don’t have the cognitive development to understand that you haven’t phased out of reality forever.

When I head out the door, my dog wants to come along. I say “sure!” We go out, hop in the car on the road, pull it in to the driveway for the night.

Mail? I guess the nano-fabricators must have created the paper, envelopes and something to write with. Oh and education on how to write.

I thought he was doing a crossover with “Dogs of C-Kennel.” Then I checked the artists names and saw that the two strips share the same co-artist!
