Locusts are a good source of protein. That’s a caveman win-win.

Knock on wood, but in my part of the western world, where we are getting a snow storm right now, I in all my 50 + years (although I see the occasional grasshopper jump away when I mow the lawn, and there is a pesky cricket chirping away in the old barn) I have never seen even one locust! I must have the privileged life.

Even locusts have standards!

And they couldn’t finish off the zuccini.

Why did you plant it if you don’t like it?

If you mix kale with coconut butter, it makes it easier to scrape into the garbage . . .

I know this is unpopular but I would rather have kale than broccoli.

What is wrong with kale? Trader Joe’s used to carry a kale and spinach pie that was delicious.

I don’t understand the hatred of kale. It’s good stuff. I don’t select it for its “nutritional value”. I just eat an array of foods and let the nutrients work themselves out. Too bad about all the other crops they had, tho.

Kale is one of the ugliest greens out there, but it tastes good. My cousin loves it.

Well, I guess even a plague of locusts have a somewhat discerning taste. Even so, I do not hate kale, but I would not cry if I had to do without it. What I hate about it is the hipster image that has been placed on it.

Even locusts have standards.

They laid their eggs in the kale, they knew they were safe there.

Just dip them in chocolate and instant delicacy!!!

Put it in a pot of boiling water until the water turns dark green. Drain the water off. Scrape what’s left in the pot into the compost pile.

This can’t be an old strip, right? Cause until a couple of years ago, almost none of us had even heard of kale. Therefore, I can’t imagine kale being used in a strip decades ago.

I have never eaten kale. From what I’ve read and heard I don’t think I want to.
