school here in Clark County, Washington begins this week (even once had a conversation with a donor at my Salvation Army trailer about her grandson wanting to keep his unused water balloons)

This comic strip never ceases to amaze me nor make me laugh! A boy with an overactive imagination is an understatement!

Calvin, paybacks should always happen at a later time, not right after you’ve been attacked. Wait until Hobbes is napping or sleeping then hit him with the water balloon.

That next to the last panel reminds me of the Coyote in Roadrunner cartoons when he realizes the trap failed and he is about to get it …. again!

What? Blasphemy!

Yep. My grandson enters 5th grade tomorrow.

I would always declare the last week before school, “No shirt. No school-like activities. No shoes.”

With imaginary friends like this, who needs enemies?

How dumb does Calvin have to be to always be outsmarted by a stuffed tiger?

Beautiful version of the old Coyote v. Roadrunner constructs. Watterson was the best!

It just goes to show, it’s always something.

When you remember that he’s handling both sides of the fight, you really have to wonder.
