I know I say this a lot, but I love Cat Logic. Elvis has apparently failed a spot check.

And OMC, Beatrix’s little butt sticking out of the food bowl! That’s hilarious and adorable!

They’re just trying to show who is in charge.

I notice the little sweetie isn’t wasting time fighting about the food.

Clearly, the food tastes better when eaten from the green bowl.

Elvis, there’s a full, untouched bowl right in front of you. If you’re starving, it’s your own stubborn Siamese fault!

Beatrix’s little kitten tail sticking up in the air while she tucks into the food bowl is adorable to the 10th power.

Clearly, the big green bowl has the good stuff. Who knew that Lupin could be so dog-like?

Georgia has a handle on Cat Logic!! This is so familiar to every caretaker of felines.

Besides it is obvious that no one had fed them since forever. Or a few minutes t least.

Guys? We were played yesterday. Good one, Mrs Dunn.

At least they’re gentlecats and leaving the Kitten out of it.

Oh yes. My cats used to do that. They wouldn’t eat the food before em and used to poke their snout into food before another’s.

At least we bears are smart enough to detect food around us and quickly consume it.

A Kitty’s answer to road rage.

(Sound of a Caticopter is heard) This just in, we have a 2 cat pile up on the green bowl highway. Traffic is at a stand still on the blue bowl highway, but we have clear sailing on the purple bowl highway…more traffic news in 12 seconds…

Multiple food bowls with the same food but of course everyone has to have what they other is eating.

I am painkiller free! Ribs are just a tad sensitive at night.

The green bowl probably gives their food more texture.

Bowl Rage incident at the Pink House.

Tempers are flaring in the kitchen at the Pink House with reported pokes to Lupin’s eye and paws in Puck’s face. So far it appears that the kitten is negotiating the heavy bowl traffic without problems but that could change after she finishes the food in the purple bowl. Stay tuned for further updates.

Thanks to everyone yesterday who helped with suggestions for my friend’s new cat issue. I’ve passed the comments on to him.

For cats, the grass is always greener (or more aptly the kibble is more tasty) in the other bowl.

I see that while the adults squabble, little Beatrix has commandeered a food bowl all to herself and is chowing down happily.

It’s not easy eating from green,

Having to wait when when friends

Crowd around the bowl

Even though there is a bowl

That is green-blue or teal,

Or something like that.

…….

It’s not easy eating from green,

It seems that so many others

Want to eat out of that bowl,

And the all tend to crowd you out and there’s no room for you

However hard you try.

But green is the color of Spring,

Which is coming today

Though purple can be friendly-like,

And teal is not bad, too.

When green is the only bowl

It makes you wonder,

But why wonder, why wonder?

It’s green, maybe I’d like teal,

They’re both beautiful,

And I know I have to eat.

Kermit the Frog: It’s Not Easy Being Green

I only have one cat, but she gets her food in two places: a small amount goes in her regular dish and the bulk goes into a food maze. (This usually keeps her from eating too fast and regurgitating everything.) As the next mealtime approaches she will ignore what food remains in her maze from the last time she was fed, acting very much like Elvis in the last panel there.

So true. One bowl always is empty, the other(same food) is full.

Beatrix is a very sensible kit. She’ll fight about a food bowl once she’s finished the one she’s on. And, Woman—what’s this 3 bowl stuff? Someone’s being left out, and it’s not Beatrix.

Someone called it yesterday.

Food tastes much better when it’s from someone else’s bowl.

I have the kind of unit with two bowls in it. Now if I could just figure out how to put food in both at the same time.

Right now Lupin seems to be winning the food bowl fight. Elvis is clueless as ever. Bless his heart. Mat the Boys get a full tummy and no indigestion.

My cat McKayla just passed away after 18 1/2 years with me. I will tell you all about her more tomorrow.

I don’t have that happen with my two cats. But at the cat colony………this is an every day occurrence. It’s “fresher” coming from the can in the next bowl. As far as they are concerned. The smart ones find the one bowl that has food in it and eat.

I’ve never had more than one cat at a time, but somehow I can guess which of my cats would have behaved like a Lupin or an Elvis.

Elvis is wasting time. Little one will eat the other bowl full while he is complaining.

O happy day: “Lupin Leaps In” was in my birthday gift bag as hoped! I’m hanging the Do Not Disturb sign on all possible openings to my house tomorrow.

Cats really can get too sulky to eat. My friend’s older cat went on a 3-day hunger strike after a new kitten was abruptly introduced to the household.
