Tumble dry would be faster and more fun for Pig.

but, Rat, how is Pig going to pin the shirt onto the clothesline while he’s still wearing the shirt?

This is probably why Pig doesn’t wear clothes very often. Wash day is hell.

Previously it was noted that Pastis was mentioned on Mark Trail. I just noticed, in a strip fed to me, that March 5 New Adventures of Queen Victoria also mentions him. Was there some kind of roast/tribute going on?

Pig needed to wash his new wash and wear uniform for his new job as a lineman for the County, and practicing singing in the wires while blowing in the wind

I haven’t seen clothes drying on a line in years. We used to use a clothesline back when I was growing up on a farm, but they seem to be hanned by many home owners associations today

Except you should hang a shirt by its tails, so you don’t get those little pokie bits on the shoulders…

I love the smell of clothes that have dried on the line. No bottled fragrance compares. If sunshine has a smell, this is it. HOA doesn’t bother me as I have a tall fence around my backyard. But please don’t tell the dems about my immoral fence.

Please be more specific, Rat. Some people have odd notions about how to use clothespins.

Sheets hung on the line might be brought into the house with all the soot they collected from RR steam engines.

In Italy (and probably most of Europe) you see clothes hanging everywhere on balconies.

I guess they need a warning label, though I’m not sure where they would put it. (My iron came with a warning not to iron clothes while wearing them.)
