Scooter has a good eye for details.

Revenge is a work of art for Scooter.

Subversive graffiti artist, Scooter.

And just in time for the early afternoon scolding.

Scooter’s going to go hungry tonight, out there in his doghouse.

He could bark that Banksy did it!

Scooter is a well known artist, and if I haven’t gotten up so early, and weren’t falling asleep I would give you some examples.

But I’m positive Susan will fulfill that part for you.

I’d say that NOW, Scooter is probably over it. He’s had his say.

Ballard Street Newsflash:

Talented Ballard St. artist is in the doghouse again! Details are sketchy, but we hope to have a clear picture later.

Owner claims that he is not object of portrait, but that it is of some other clown.

Scooter sure knows how to bring attention to himself.

Sigh…. no pressure, right, Rose?

And does anyone ever think I  might be wanting to sneak off to bed early, instead of staying up till all hours searching for pictures for you guys?

No… of course not.

BTW… to those who have asked how I remember all these strips and have them at my fingertips…

I do have a few, probably not more than a dozen, to which I’ve saved links….

but mostly, I’m not some sort of Ballard Street savant or strip hoarder….

I’m just diligent, and I’ve figured out ways to search for things I half remember.

This time, I don’t remember seeing a lot of Scooter’s artwork….

He’s truly a dog for all seasons… smart, athletic, and multi-talented… including an obvious artistic flair.

But the only evidence I managed to find, for now, are today’s strip… and his well known ice cream works…

which landed him in quite a bit of trouble over some expensive hand packed quarts from Ballardo’s Dairy Delights.

There are quite a few artistic dogs in the neighborhood…

they may not be able to play baseball or tie their own shoes like Scooter…

but Rudy, for instance… can draw well and works cheap:

Misguided talent.. Scooter would have done better by doing some sculpture on the leg of the coffee table.

I think I’ve seen that guy before; at the circus maybe?

Well,, the retribution of his could have been a lot worse. It could have been a “Scooter Steamer” on the new carpet.
