Of course, based on that logic, god wanted Robert Mueller to take Trump down as an object lesson in morality about what happens to corrupt, perverse, lying, cheating scammers who brag about cheating on all their wives, pay hush money to porn stars and nude models, put babies in cages and conspire with hostile foreign adversaries (godless Communists led by a former top KGB officer of the former Soviet Union).

Oh, and by this perverse logic, god wanted Adolf Hitler to be führer of Germany and murder millions of Jews and others and start World War II because god knows all, sees all and, being all powerful, had the power to stop such atrocities. Thus, by Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ “logic,” god WANTS little children to be raped — he even makes sure his representatives on earth are on the front lines of carrying out his “divine plan” (everything unfolds according to god’s plan).

It all depends on who you pray to (or prey on).

Sarah Suck-a-bee has the look that says “we are all scum and she looks forward to the day she is taken up by the rapture”. Her and the religious zealots in the White House believe they are a driving force to Armageddon.

Even “God” doesn’t hate us that much.

If there were no god, the power-seekers would invent one so the could promise their victims a reversal of status in an imaginary hereafter and continue their own shameful sinful ways unabated in the here and now. And ministers of this faith would be able to earthy compensation for their service.

As I pointed out the other day, there’s no way to know who’s right when, as Dylan says, everyone claims God is on their side. Whatever this universe arose from, whatever “Intelligence” brought it about, no one has a clue what “It” is thinking, if It has anything like what we think of as a mentation process. As Kierkegaard speculated, God (however we imagine It) is tangential to our universe. Frankly, Sara is blowing this out of her political bellows.

I had to look twice. I thought that might not be Trump’s arm. Silly me.

If so, God really has a sick sense of humour. But then, I wouldn’t take that person’s word for it. I don’t believe her about much less significant matters; I’m really not believing her about that.

The world (and this latest craziness) makes perfect sense if you accept the idea that God is 100% malevolent, but only 80% effective at implementing his/her nasty plans. Plus, there is no need for the theological shenanigans that try to reconcile a loving God with the problem of evil in the world.

All I know is don’t pull that finger.

I worry about those who hear voices that no one else does and think that it is a god speaking exclusively to them … “touched” used to be the way they were described at one time.

I honestly believe that all the people who work for Trump are just plain nuts. Too much confefe.

Lots of people say Trump is proof that god does not exist.

The Huckabees decided that the commandment about “not bearing false witness” doesn’t apply to them. Mike and Sarah went on The View and were treated respectfully (Joy called them her top two favorite Republicans) and then Mike went on Fox and disparaged them, saying they were “irrational”. Sarah lies so much that I’m waiting for her tongue to leap out of her mouth in disgust.

This week I learned that Michelangelo HATED painting, especially the Sistine Chapel. He said he developed a goiter from the position he had to use and the paint constantly dripped on him.

She has God confused with the electoral college and Vladimir Putin.

I’m beginning to wonder why Mr. Trump doesn’t just hire Anne Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and a few others as his official advisory staff. If the “I know more than. . .” anybody about anything president only listens to them, put ‘em on the payroll. As to God’s desire, I really have to give the deity a pass on this one; I really think we did this to ourselves.

Also, the majority of American voters preferred the woman who Vladimir Putin was afraid of.

Leave God out of it Sarah, he’s not really involved here. But the Orange guy is. You sold him your soul, which would make him…………

Meanwhile, in terms of Trump’s wall agenda, why the hell didn’t he get the wall going when the GOP had ALL the branches of government? It proves that no one wants it in terms of it not being passed in those two years. The GOP landowners in Texas sure don’t want it and most of them do support Trump otherwise.

Kind of curious that God told her father to run, but then evidently didn’t want him to even win any primaries.

Speaking of God and Republicans, I hear that many of the evangelicals are starting to change their minds about Trump. Evangelicals are dropping faster from the Trump train than Lindsay Graham at a truck stop.

OF COURSE God wanted Trump to be President! If you’re going to have an Anti-Christ, you don’t waste him as School Superintendent of Rantoul, Illinois.
