As Stephen Colbert recapped this week in light of Donald Trump’s claims of knowing things with his gut (which is plentifully endowed) than his brain (not so much), looking back to his previous show “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central, his very first episode of that old show, many years ago, was the one in which he famously coined the term “truthiness” — “knowing” things with your gut instead of your brain.
It has gotten to the point where parody and satire have morphed into the bizarre reality we now live in.
To be fair to Donnie, he didn’t claim that what his gut said made sense, only that the gut says more than other people. It’s kind of like hearing voices in your head.
Seemingly the essence of the neo-Republican ideology (thanks Newt), … explains why it is so difficult for normal Americans to communicate with them using logic and reason. The resident, unlike his predecessors, doesn’t even try to disguise it.
Truthiness is Colbert’s word for believing what your gut tells you instead of what you know with your mind, because you don’t like what you know with your mind. The problem with using your gut to do what your mind is supposed to be doing is that the products of the two organs become virtually identical.

Ǡnd, they’re coming to take me away, ha, ha
They’re coming to take me away, ho, ho, hee, hee, ha, ha
To my Moscow home with golden showers and twitter birds
And I’ll be happy to see those Яussian men with their pure white skin
And they’re coming to take Tяump away, ha, ha
You thought I was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed
when I said that Mueller would make me flip my lid, right?
You know you laughed
I heard you laugh, you laughed, you laughed and laughed with all of the left, but now you know I’m utterly mad
And, they’re coming to take me away, ha, ha
They’re coming to take me away, ho, ho, hee, hee, ha, ha
To my Moscow home with golden showers and twitter birds
And Яussian pee-ers who squat and squirt and twiddle my thumbs and toes
And they’re coming to take me away, ha, ha
I screwed your mood, I cleaned your clock and this is how you pay me back for all my unkind selfish hateful deeds, huh?
Well, you just wait, they’ll hack you yet
And when they do, they’ll get you with the C.S.S U.S.S.Я., you American mutts
And, they’re coming to take me away, ha, ha
They’re coming to take me away, ho, ho, hee, hee, ha, ha
To my Moscow home with golden showers and twitter birds
And I’ll be happy to see those Яussian men with their pure white skin
And they’re coming to take me away, ha, ha

People on Trump’s side believe in things as so that just aren’t true at all. 45% still think that Obama isn’t American and isn’t a Christian.

Trump’s Disciples also ‘know’ that their gut can tell them more than anyone else’s brain.
Just look at their comments.
