   There are two of those avaliable.

   One of which is facing four trials and 89 felony counts – so far. One of which may be facing conviction on 34 felony counts before his party’s convention. Perhaps even being sentenced to prison.

   Now that Stormy is done testifying, Trump’s lawyers are asking Merchan for permission for Trump to attack Stormy (violating the gag order).

   The only time/way that a defendant is allowed to “push back” against a witness’s testimony is by their lawyers cross-examining the witness on the stand.

   Trump’s lawyers did that – not very successfully, it seems.

   Just because that witness is done testifying does not mean that Trump can now viciously assault her with lies in public. Merchan said he would address the request after 4:30, when the jury is dismissed for the day. Expect fire and fury from him – this request is entirely against the law.

   I like the idea of No Mow May – but in my area the municipality requires anyone who wants to participate to 1) register their property with the municipality 2) obtain a lawn sign 3) make sure the lawn sign is prominently displayed in said law.

   All so they can continue to fine people for not keeping their lawns < 5 inches long, including any weeds or dandelion heads. You gotta mow every day if you have any dandelions in your lawn!

   And if you are unlucky enough to live in an HOA, the HOA-nazis are eager to assess and deliver fines every day you violate that 5 inch limit.

   It is an accurate quote – AOC did say those exact words. It was a humor bit parodying Trump – an approach that Colbert does on many of his shows.
