   Paul Krugman says “If they’re sincerely worried about inflation, I’d urge them to have their staffs do the math. Anxiety about the inflationary impact of public investment just doesn’t make sense if you work through the numbers.”

   Faux news and other RW media are using fear of inflation to try and divide the left or at the very least get the main stream media to talk about it to sow some doubt in the minds of the public just to slow the congress down on the infrastructure. Inflation will cool quickly when we see signs the supply is moving in the right direction.

   The U.S. State Department and the World Economic Forum are teaming up to persuade global titans to commit to buying low-carbon products by 2030 or sooner in a bid to accelerate the push to meet climate goals and help develop greener supply chains. The full list of coalition members will be announced.

   They will target four sectors initially: aviation, shipping, steel and trucking. Technologies to cut pollution from them exists, such as sustainable jet fuel, ships running on methanol, steel made from green hydrogen and electric trucks. But those solutions are a lot more expensive than fossil fuel-reliant routes, and the product supply isn’t always available at scale.

   “These are the most difficult industry sectors for anybody dealing with the climate challenge,” Kerry said  “Not because it’s inherently impossible, but mostly because it hasn’t had a lot of focus.” At a meeting in Geneva last week, Kerry met chief executive officers of 30 companies that he hopes to convince to join the FMC.

   New technologies follow a learning curve. As engineers build more solar panels or lithium-ion batteries, they learn how to make them better and cheaper. While government policies have helped some high-profile solutions like EVs ride that curve quickly, many of the most-polluting businesses haven’t received that kind of support.

   Emerging technologies are forecast to account for 50% of the reductions in emissions in 2050, when the world should hit net zero to keep warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius relative to pre-industrial times. Increasing demand for greener alternatives will lower their price tag and help decarbonize the supply chains of the four segments cited by the coalition.

   India and China and many other countries will be importing coal for decades just so their citizens can cook and keep warm. If I had time to invest I would bet on "greener fission ".

   Xi Jinping is trying to use his power to enlighten China by making the Chinese schools teach “Xi Jinping Thought” in their schools and he hopes someday to teach it to the world.One of the new rules is that Kids in China are now only supposed to play video games 3 hours a week.    This rule might have just saved the world from Chiese domination.  The kids are going to be so pissed they will change their ideology just to be able to play games when they want.   lol. Hung by their own playstations.

   This walking and chewing gum concept seems to be lost on everyone.

   Why is it always either "Do this " or else  "Do that " ?   When in most every cases it should be why aren’t we doing this ALL that.

   For some reason people seem to think that only the Zero sum game is the way things have to work.

   But, the Truth is that someone doesn’t have to lose for something Good to happen to someone else.

   The un-taxed and under taxed multi-billionaires, multi-millionaires, and corporations could actually be fairly taxed and those many billions or trillions of dollars could be used for all types of good.

   Or maybe just write laws forcing the same untaxed to stop harming people or the planet and actually start helping.

   Walking, talking and good  governance all at the same time ? What a concept!

    Why is it always either “Do this thing” or else  “Do that thing” ?When in most every case it should be why aren’t we doing this and that, or all of the “Things” that we need to do to accomplish the goals?This walking and chewing gum concept seems to be lost on everyone.

    The 11 billion the billionaire Amigos (Billionairigoes,  Astrobosses,..?) spent on these missions is chump change to them and could easily be spent again the next day by them without blinking an eye.  Together they donate billions more than that to charity. 

    The un-taxed and under taxed multi-billionaires, multi-millionaires and multinational corporations could actually be fairly taxed and those many billions or trillions of dollars could be used to give just basic aid to feed, house, and cloth millions of people. 

    For some reason people seem to think that only the Zero sum game is the way things have to work.

    Someone doesn’t have to lose for something Good to happen!
