That wasn’t very nice Nelson. You even shocked Roscoe.
You better hope that those knitting needles aren’t sharp, Nelson!
Art Linkletter said kids say the *^@#est things…
When honesty is not the best policy…
see if Nelson becomes looking like his grandparents in his later years
Some day 60 years from now, neither will you.
Put a rein on that tongue young man!
Nelson is never mean. He’s just being honest. He’s too innocent to know people don’t like honesty.
Nelson is about to learn something very important.
Old age does not come alone, Nelson! Your time will come!
Nelson the sands of time do shift .
Opal, you probably thought about saying that very thing to your Gramma, but didn’t. If you had, you would have landed on the dark side of the moon. Just saying.
Out of the mouth of babes.
Soon after, Nelson disappeared. And was never seen again. Everyone admired the giant tea cozy in the corner of Opal’s kitchen.
Show him his baby pictures….naked on a bear skinned rug. That will be sure to embarrass him and shut him up.
No cookies for YOU..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My nephew once told me he liked to hug me because I “squish” (compared to a thinner Aunt) and I told him it’s because I was built for comfort, not for speed =)
OY! …out of the mouth of babes…..
As Shrek would say, Nelson is going the right way for a smart bottom.
Either or neither nor kid?
Our grandkids are fascinated by our old photo albums. All their photos are digital and in the cloud.
I have saved a couple of my parent’s photo albums and one from my late father’s older sister. These particularly intrigue my granddaughter because of the way people looked and dressed almost 100 years ago in the United States. Last year she borrowed some of the pictures for a history project at school.
She particularly likes the pictures of my Aunt and her friends at the beach circa 1923 and the swim suits!
And W.C. Fields would have said “Go away boy. You bother me” -as he booted him in the rear end.
Obviously he did not notice that she had previously noticed that fact, but I suspect he merely wants to know why, maybe. Probably it will occur on him as it does some people.
The be me and my hubby, more so me, hubby suppose to be 6’4" and due to work and he is retired does not stand that straight, he also lost 40 pounds, for me very small meals to lose if I am able to 1 pound.
You can go back home now Nelson!!! Lol
Don’t ya love it when the grandkids call you old and fat?
My then-5yo grandniece to my then-86yo mom: “Great Memaw, how come you look so old?”
Just keep your mouth shut, kid. You’re as bad as Dennis.
“…and now you’re out of the will.”
Nelson, you’d better hope Grandma can’t run as fast as she used to!
Nelson nailed it!
But we still have the pictures.
HEY!!!i resemble that remark!!!!!
watermark? wait….. nope.
besides nelson, your probably gonna end up the same way, so don’t say anything. Enjoy it while it all lasts.
Kids say the meanest.., um I mean “darndest” things. lol
Even Roscoe was taken aback by that comment.
No desert for you Nelson.
“True, but I had fun getting to where I am.”
They have no filter yet, they always tell the truth.
watch it grandson…you will be there soon enough…
I don’t know why Opal looks surprised, Nelson is correct.
Time for a new heir…
