1999 was a much better year to party than 2017.
I’m remembering a line. “We’re going to party like it’s 1999. Again” Simpsons?
Never mind Rat, Steph — fight for your right to party!
The reference is 35 years old. That song came out in 82. Ouch.

Rat – you are lousy at math. If it had been released in 1999, it would be 18 years old. As it is, the song was released in 1982. Thirty five years old, baby.

Small fun fact: 1999 was the year when Stephan first submitted Pearls Before Swine to some syndicates, and United Media liked it and signed him in. Another fun fact: I was born on that year. So yeah, party like it’s 1999!
