Well golly, Wally, if you’d just said the magic words a bit sooner. Question: For Spider-coon pest removal, does it have to be those exact words or will any nonsensical phrase do?

Kirbee really did come through, but where are we now? Does Wally know? He made the announcement but I’m not sure he is aware of it, he may still be under the control of what ever created this whole nightmare.

I’m convinced even more now that it was not just dittos. Certainly they played a role, but “through the veil” is a common phrase for interacting with other realms, usually spiritual. I believe that what they experienced was a dimensional tear caused by the dittos due to Wally’s collapse, resulting in a temporary overlap through which Jim/One/I could intrude.

To me, it’s similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7xza4oYsbY

Wally waking up snapped the dimensions back into place, and thus it as if it never were….except Chic still has that “blown fuse” look, poor kid.

I’m with Erwin, where did EVERYTHING go? No furniture, nothing but one chair, just a blank room. The veil that hid Eden’s secret is gone.

I remember quite some time ago that it was said this reality shouldn’t exist, in the vast multiverse there’s a section of Earths that are utterly lifeless because of the use of Edgeworth’s radiation in warfare, yet THIS reality features a world with survivors, despite every adjacent reality being completely inert. Perhaps this veil has something to do with the anomalous life in this world.

Perspective error in panel 4. They appear to be standing on a single horizontal line. The floor line on the left-hand side wall (our view) should also show a converging line as does the ceiling. Of course, it could be a deliberate error, the way things are around here… wherever “here” is.

The veil is thin. That’s what One/Jim said. Part of me wondered if they were already plastic brains but… The Fitzgerald just doesn’t fit.

Food for thought: if Wally and compaany have “broken through the veil” and all that’s left is a void, then does that mean that all of Eden was an illusion? If so, who was generating the illusion (and don’t tell me that Ravenscroft was the “Architect” of “The Endtown Matrix”, if you know what I mean ;D)?

I found a curious error in Wally’s character. His broken fang has changed sides.

Looks like some cracks in reality are starting to form, I’m expecting more callbacks to seemingly innocuous things.

“I” talked about the veil being thin. Could be worse. Could be a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I believe that the spider Jim we saw WAS dittos. In fact, not only do I believe that they were Wally’s dittos, but they were also helping them “through the veil” thing. Wally has been through this sort of thing before but not Kirbee and Chic. They might have needed a crash course in order to help them see through whatever illusion that has trapped them here.

Of course the question still remains, who is responsible? I’m thinking that they are lab rats in an elaborate topsider experiment. The topsider we saw before would make sense then.

It’s not clear whether the last panel indicates that everything that used to be in the room is also gone, or whether the huge empty space is just artistic license to show that the massive invasion of dittos has vanished completely.

In the last panel, if you blow the picture up, they look sort of half-drawn. Their faces look rudimentary. Wally seem to occupy half the space we’re used to seeing. Don’t know if this means anything, or is it just late and I’m seeing things that don’t matter?

Observation involving this “Endtown” episode….Interesting that Aaron didn’t show any of the characters’ hands. If he had, would we have settled the “four fingers vs five fingers” debate once and for all?

Odd, the raccoon thing looks sorta like what happens to a person who encounters the “change” while conscious. It has the tentacles, multiple insect legs and distorted body shape, but it’s missing the multiple eyes and mouths.

This is what it would be like if they were all in a virtual reality environment and someone turned off their interface (such as headsets). The room could be big and empty to allow them free movement through the virtual world. No headsets here, but maybe some kind of neural interference field that puts the illusions into their heads. Or, the room is a controlled environment with a chunk of a different dimension contained, with a neural field projected that allows them to interact with it. The invisible Topsider and the comic book accessible only with gloves and goggles are hints…of what, though? I’m looking forward to finding out.
