    … you should see the railings near the waterfall where I am. 4 lag bolts into concrete (note: should have been raised ABOVE the concrete). Actually I should write the local Engineering department and suggest they notch it so it’ll drain instead of rotting out…

    I’ve fixed cold solder joints dozens of times. So many tricks, so many google searches to see what’s been done. I have never tried reballing one though… I should, I have some older components. Would be a fun thing to try.

    This! Is! The way of IT Hardware. When one breaks, life must give you everything else in one large dose.IRT the bootloop… you’ve got loose balls (Solder) and have obviously been living on borrowed time. How big are your strips? A4?

    We all do what we can. Reading, getting views, and sharing the work (I found it awesome 2 years ago when I was laid up on the couch from a stroke) helps too.
