Yes, conservative Catholics and Evangelical Christians sold out their religious beliefs to worship Trump. They no longer recognize the Sermon on the Mount or the example of the Jesus they, oddly, still say they believe in.

I’m a little surprised that Rump hasn’t incorporated himself as a religion yet. He should be drooling over the tax exemptions it would give him.

I don’t follow any religion and I don’t believe the bible is anything but a book but I have to say, when you take the biblical references to the anti-christ and apply them to trump the similarities should have anyone who DOES believe in the bible terrified.

The number of white evangelicals is falling — a big reason why they are getting more desperately aggressive. Their obeisance to Trump will only accelerate their decline.

When it comes to religion, have you ever noticed that liberals will demean anyone’s religious beliefs, but YOU better not demean theirs (LGBTQ).

FIB you know that we “libs” fully support the right of anyone to believe whatever they like and practice what they preach. What we oppose is those who would shove their beliefs down the throats of people that don’t believe what they do in the name of their “mission from God”. The people we demean, as you put it, are the hypocrites, the liars, the con men and women who shear their flocks for profit, and those who believe that their religion declares “I can do what I want and you should do as you’re told”.

We’ve got a few of these in our town. Just don’t expect them to make a lot of sense discussing their teachings.

God must be so proud of himself to have EARNED Trump’s endorsement. Maybe Trump will ALLOW God to play second fiddle on the ticket in 2024. God for VEEP.

Imagine that, ever since the Council of Nicea in 325 AD, we Christians have been doing it all WRONG! Almost 1,700 years of sinning and heresy. Think of how many people have to be kicked out of heaven on this technicality. God will have his RETRIBUTION.

Now we have the one, holy, true, PATRIOTIC (God is on OUR side) path to salvation, the one and only, Trump-approved Bible. Get yours today. Use the special code – MAGA when ordering and get a special deal on our Golden Sneakers!

    Do I even need a /S?

Part of the fee for the Bible is the licensing of Trump’s name and image for which he is paid royalties.

The German Postal Service issued a stamp with Hitler’s image on it. Hitler received a royalty for every stamp used. It’s nice to see Trump following the example of yet another dictator.

and how did we all like his wonderful heartfelt easter message to the world screaming (all caps) about the same old stuff- unfair, politically motivated, name calling, whining and blathering how he has done nothing wrong. and yet his high top shoes have sold out! deep sigh, eye roll, head slap.

The Bible warns of false prophets: In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 7:15–20), Jesus warns his followers of false prophets: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.

    And yet….
